They are not adding more room for more people to see it, they are putting in benches where people were standing to see the show. This won't change the lines at all.

Glad you got to camp there. We booked there 2 years ago but they were replacing their bridge and we could only stay 1 night, so we rebooked for Long Key. Didn't really like it-too many partiers. Curry Hammock looked to be more our style. The beach front on Long Key is really filthy too from the Atlantic jetstream. All the cruise boat trash comes ashore here.

We went to BB this past weekend and it looked about 75% full. My DD and DH rode the ski lift to the top and it took them over an hour to make their way down a ride. I was pissed! My advice would be to learn how to walk up the stairs...alot! Our lines weren't very long when we walked but the line management didn't seem to go very well. We did all decide that we liked TL much better though.

Was just there this past weekend, Thursday wasn't bad FW was also very empty.Friday started to get busy and 1600-1700-1800 loops filled up in back. They kept 1900 as open as possible because they are cutting down pine trees and stump grinding. Maybe a beetle infestation? Pool was nice on Thursday but we didn't go near it on Fri-Sun. Too crowded. 1600-1700 loops filled all the way up over the weekend. Parks seemed fuller as well. That's what makes it nice having seasonal passes. When the parks get full and HOT we don't go.

We were there this weekend as well for my birthday on Thursday, but avoided HS like the plague. Can't stand sci-fi junk, and saw enough of it when I was growing up with a sci-fi older brother. People dress up as the craziest things during these times.

Loved chatting with you when we were there. I'm glad we got to see each other as we seemed to be busy most of the weekend.

We'll be at the Fort this weekend celebrating DD's 14th birthday. As part of what she wants to do this weekend we want to go over to Celebration and check out the Great American Pie Festival. Is there any transportation between the two that Disney provides? If not we have our own car but figured it would be hard to park unless we got there early.

Forget China's Smart watermelon. They haven't had it in almost 6 months. Ticks off my DD every time we go to EPCOT. It's her favorite.

We ate here when DD was young. I liked it because we went at a slow time and there were no screaming kids! It was a very relaxing meal and she still got to see the characters too, but we were able to eat where most of the other places the focus is really on the meet and greet.

DD and I went last Friday to DTD and went in to the new Basin. I love their new sinks wish I had them in my bathroom. The place feels emptier though....

Each of those locations also have wine flights- they are about $10 and you get 4 tastes, but you have to do them all at once. I've only tried Germany's because I had a driver that day. I'm a light weight and since I live nearby I didn't want to take a chance on not being all there to get home. I will say the girl that poured for me that day made an awful mess. She insisted on holding the bottle more than 18 inches away from the glass so that everything got wet with wine and the tray had more wine on it than the glass.

Been taking a break for a couple of weeks and when I came back I got to read a great new TCD trip report. Couple of things I wanted to add, the cornhole games were there in January for the Marathon weekend and then they disappeared. We asked the manager of the HDDR and he couldn't find them. I think they are supposed to put them out only when people are waiting for the HDDR from what he said. We also have only seen Fastasmic once. That's when my DD was about 4, she will be 14 this month. She was terrified of it and we never went back. I couldn't believe the amount of people waiting in your pic

The walk was quite short it took us about 10 minutes and that was with stopping at the Boardwalk for a quick look around. We then stopped at Beaches and Cream for a milkshake and still made it before EPCOT opened. Have to try that again one day. The boats were REALLY slow on Friday.

I knew the Fiends could help, and now I have 2 different ways to walk there as well. We actually don't care about AC(we're Natives) and the stroll will be nice. We're running a 10K the next day so it won't bother us. So unless we're just exhausted after doing the Studios I think I'll take Carol's suggestion and walk it, with maybe an ice cream on the way!

I'm a local and have never park hopped because we usually go early in the morning and leave by 2pm when it is just my DD and I. She wants to go to HS and then over to EPCOT for the F&G festival. My plan was to park at EPCOT then take the bus to HS and either boat or walk? back to HS. I looked at the map of HS and it looks like the boat launch and walkway are near each other in the front of the park? We walk really fast, would we beat the boat to EPCOT? Or should we just wait for it and enjoy the ride? Is there anything to see on the way, anyplace we need to stop and explore?

We ate there for DH's bday this year and really enjoyed our meal. Wait staff was great as well as the food and ambiance.

Love Ft Pickens (DH's family is from PNS), have you camped at Blackwater before? We love that campground but the last time we were there it was flooded and we couldn't get around real well, all trails under water as well as par of the road.

The large ferry boats were used to transport Grad Night students from FW dock to MK back when they were doing that. They used to bus them in and make them wait at the BYBBQ area and call them up by schools and load them on the large ferries to go across the lake. I never understood why it was necessary though.

I think the deal with the couple that tried to do DL and WDW in the same day was that they were trying like you to do all the attractions. They started at WDW and were able to do them, then flew to DL but since it's a smaller park they got caught up in traffic and park closings. They made it into the park but were unable to get to all the attractions there. They decided to just enjoy the experience at that point and not worry about doing everything.... FL tags still have counties on them, if you can find one that is not advertising a school or special group. If you have a truck, lease, or boug

We also were directed to Adventureland, Frontierland and Main Street but not Fantasyland. I was happy about that though because it is always the most crowded place in MK, especially now with construction going on. I do have to say we were in Adventureland doing the game when the Pirate show was going on and it did make it hard to hear the game. Good thing they close caption all the video. Same thing happened when we were on Main Street with the MISI parade (I so hate that parade!).

We did it today. Kind of like Kim Possible but instead you have cards you have to hold up to the camera to cast a spell to get the "bad" guys. My DD was on level 1 since today was her first try. Personally I'm not a game person so after seeing it today, I wouldn't do it again. She says she will but hopes it gets harder because you will need more spells or cards to complete the task. Also, you can only play one round a day. We were hoping to load up on the cards for the next time but you can only get 1 set a day.
