Leaked River Country DVC Plans

Am I the only one who thinks that a western themed resort/boardwalk along the lake between FW and WL might be a good thing? -

Yellow no parking stripes?
tim5055 replied to Cortezcapt (Derek)'s topic in Fort Wilderness Loops Information
Apparently the Fort is too low class to have Magic Band entry at the pool and they just park in the overflow lot. If you sit and watch on the weekend folks park there and unload coolers and all they need for a day at the pool. -

Yellow no parking stripes?

Nope, they are not talking about pool hopping, but locals from Orlando who have claimed the Fort pool as their weekend resort for free...... -
Golf Cart to Wilderness Lodge
tim5055 replied to mastergracey's topic in General Camping Discussion and Questions
Yup, carts rented at the lodge would be a different color - like blue. Blue carts can go both ways, green carts, not so much...... -
This will work as long as the truck wiring has been set up for the #4 pin on your 7 way connector to be hot. Take a look at this diagram and with a meter and a few minutes you can find out if your is wired to charge the battery. Not all vehicles that have a 7 way connector are wired for this pin to be hot.

The Enforcer Fairies are out!

No, the trams did not go into the loops. They were just lovely open air busses...... -
Thanks for all the great comments! Jason, I have to admit I never went around Cabanas around dinner time. I yield to your knowledge. I can imagine stocking a buffet for the few people who would show up with all the other great places would be cost prohibitive. Now, on to more thoughts... Dress on the ship. During our 7 night cruise there was one "formal" night as well as one "dress up night" in addition to the "Pirate Night" talked about earlier. Now, with that being said I saw folks wearing everything from a tux on formal night to shorts & tee shirts almost every night. The onl

OK, back with more thoughts..... Deck 11 and above is the place to be most of the time. The back third of deck 11 is Cabanas, the buffet restaurant. Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner every day As you move forward you find the pools. On each side of the pools you have coffee and soda 24 hours a day. There is also the ice cream station here, a bar and a quick service food station. Dogs, burgers, sandwiches, fried foods, fries and sides. Two pools, a large hot tub a little kids splash zone, lots of both lounge chairs as well as table & chairs and the neatest thing going - "Funnel Vision"

Having never cruised, with Disney before we were not sure what to expect, but having cruised Alaska a few years ago in an aft cabin that is what we tried for. On Disney the aft cabins are classified as 5E. By the time we booked, the 5E cabins were in a GTY status, meaning we would get a 5E or better. But, the "better" may have been another upgraded cabin with a veranda. About two months before sailing our Disney on line account changed from unassigned to cabin 6190, aft 5E that we wanted. As you enter the cabin you find the A/C controls as well as the light switches. Below these switches is a

The only thing I want to point out is that while the kennel is no longer right at Fort Wilderness, it is still on Disney property. It's only a few minute drive away. Now, with that being said Niko, and Natasha before him always stayed in out camper. Both are/were German Shepard Dogs and have such have a nice healthy bark. I leave the A/C on high and a TV or radio playing low. Unless someone comes and know is on the camper door there are no problems........ Everyone should deal with their own pets and their personalities. If they are comfortable in the RV there is no reason to kennel them.

Yes, all included. I think it was $140 for one person, $190 for a couple for the week. Unlimited use of the Rainforest area. This includes two fairly private hot tubs overlooking the ocean, multiple specialty showers, 5 salt scrubs, wet sauna, dry sauna and huge locker rooms/shower. I have not showered in the tiny shower in the room yet.

It has calmed down considerably. We have Palo tomorrow night, but don't think we will make Remy. I'm not a big jacket for dinner type of guy. The spa,is wonderful. We purchased a week in the Rainforest. We are getting into a habit of hitting the spa for a couple of hours each episode evening before dinner. Tonight it was hot tub, salt scrub, wet sauna, dry sauna and the rainforest showers. Very relaxing.

Well, I probably should have put this in live reviews, but...... Disney Fantasy Very Merrytime Cruise 2015 Day one was uneventful. Security check as you enter the building was quick and efficient. No questions asked about the four bottles in my carry on bag. With a port arrival time of 10:45 - 11:00 the wait in line was about 10 minutes. With all my paperwork filed out on line it was take a picture and check the passports. Boarding group 6. Once our boarding group was called it was through the mouse ears and another 15 minute wait in line to board. Signed up for the Casaway Cay 5K and my in

Anything in particular I should be looking for? This is our first Disney cruise. Two RCCL cruises before, we were actually married on an RCCL ship. So,far we have discovered that we prefer Sandals to cruises, but maybe Disney will change that.

Well, this is an interesting thread. I'm in a hotel by the port waiting to board the Fantasy in the AM.

Battery...
tim5055 replied to twiceblessed....nacole's topic in RV Repairs on the Road, at FW and Elsewhere
Is this an RV fridge? If so it should run off LP gas. If not you will never be able to run a refrigerator off a battery. They just consume too much power. Also, is the cpap 12v or 110v using an inverter? If using an inverter they are not 100% efficient so you will have more loss in the inverter. -
Battery...
tim5055 replied to twiceblessed....nacole's topic in RV Repairs on the Road, at FW and Elsewhere
No, it won't. I doubt there are many/any commercially available batteries that will carry 20 amps for 8 hours. 20 amps solid is a very high draw. Check this out for an idea of how the calculations are made: http://all-about-lead-acid-batteries.capnfatz.com/all-about-lead-acid-batteries/lead-acid-battery-fundamentals/what-are-amp-hours/ For a heavy draw you will need to be looking at dual 6v golf cart batteries. Here is what I set up on my previous pop up http://www.title-3.com/Battery.htm For a great tutorial on RV batteries and electrical suystems read this: http://www.manmrk.net/ -
