In all the years we had a pop up I never stayed in the "partial" hook up loops (as others have said, 1500 & 2000). Even in a pop up I found we used too much water to contain without a sewer site. Even dish washing and hand washing in the sink was too much. Remember, you must contain all water when you are on a partial site and dispose of it in the bath house or in the sewer connection of a full service site. No dumping it on the ground. Interesting article. We enjoyed the Magic Bands on our last trip. I guess we are somewhat unique, no kids and we only ride a few rides (unless there is no line somewhere). We were able to schedule the rides we wanted and play around between ride times. I found it less stressful than before.

Anybody deal with The Official Ticket Center? http://www.officialticketcenter.us/default.aspx They are listed as an "Member-Exclusive Discounts" for teh Good Sam Club and their prices are a little better than Undercover Tourist. As our visits are sporadic it precludes us from getting the benefit of annual passes. We tend to buy a 10 day hopper/no expiration and use it over a few years. We used up all the park days on our last passes during our Christmas trip so it's time to look for new tickets.

Well, advice form the internet is usually worth what you pay for it, especially mine. I did a little poking around and here is what I see: Edmunds says the Infiniti with 86K should retail about 14K. I'm sorry, but I think this is another time they are off the mark. Carmax has two 2006 listed for sale, both in California. First that shows there is limited supply, thus driving up the price. The two they list are 2WD 85K miles for $21,599 4WD 112K miles for $19,998 They will move either of them to GA for about $900. I would not worry about 86k miles as long as it is in good shape. T

We have camped at Stephen Foster and it is a beautiful park with a very nice campground. It is a little out of the way for someone on an I-10 to I-75 southbound journey as a night stop (north of 10/East of 75). But, if this were a stop of a few days it would be perfect.

Funny, Ive never run into the ravenous mosquitoes there. I'm afraid to camp in the row closest to the ocean as I always think I may wake up out to sea. Poor Hunting Island is washing away quickly... Family members used to meet us there and rent a cabin. This is the last one of the State's rental cabins. For those who have never been there, this cabin used to be beachfront (on dry land).

Never been to Jekyll, but how long is the stop? When we lived in the DC area we usually stopped for a few days at Hunting Island State Park on the way to FW. As others have said Hybrids are in 1500/2000 all the time. Just remember if you use your tanks (black/grey) there is no dump station at FW. You will have to wander the campground to find and open site to dump your tanks.

First, understand that when it comes to towing not all vehicles of a particular make and model are the same. Towing capacities of vehicles are based on several factors including the vehicle frame type (unibody or frame), engine, transmission, rear end gear ratio, tires/load range, engine cooling capacity, transmission cooling capacity, alternator capacity as well as several other things.
