if you go to my Ft Wilderness scans web page the top scan is of the Terry Travel Trailers they rented. For some reason I think Terry was a Fleetwood brandhttp://www.title-3.com/FWScans.htm -
Never Been To Fort Wilderness
tim5055 replied to M&JCrosby's topic in General Camping Discussion and Questions
First to the most important thing.... Welcome!! Understand that loop/site requests are just that. FW does not take site specific reservations. Make sure that if you reserved on line that you give them a call and make sure your details are noted in the reservation. Lengths, slide outs (yes, my pop up had a slide), awnings and any other detail including "why" you want a loop/sight. Make your site selection known when you make your reservation so they can note it on your reservation. You are much better off requesting the things you like about the site/loop rather than the site/loop itsel -

I think you are correct in that the dealerships want to sell what them make a commission on. In my case Peco was willing to install the Pro Pride (I did pay a fee) and I had it shipped direct to them. When I was doing my research I found that the group with the most knowledge about these hitches was owners of Airstream trailers. I spent quite a bit of time on the Airstream Forums and there is a lot of great information over there. The finishes are what sold us on Coachmen. If you get the Liberty Edition Luxury Upgrade and the Premier Package it is just wonderful. Solid surface counters, nice cabinet finishes and more LED lighting than you can believe. -

Just looking at the floor-plans I agree with your husband. Even though I have a Coachmen and human nature tells me to recommend them, I don't like the side shower in the 292BHDS. Yea, the DW tells me where to go all the time. The camera is on a magnetic base and you can stick it anywhere. The camera head is on a swivel so once you stick it on you can adjust to watch any point. -

Yup, Sean is a great guy!! He is the one who gave us his cell phone number for any issues. I can attest to the fact that he answers it. The installer had a question before my pick up and called around 6 to find that Sean answered the phone and helped him get it installed. On th morning of my pick up (Saturday) there were some questions that arose after the test drive and again Sean answered the phone. I know when I was deciding between Arrow & Pro Pride I sent several e-mails with questions. I received answers from Sean at all hours of the night and weekends. Now, which ever one -

Well, everything I was going to say about Peco I have to forget. They were a family run business and we bought two trailers there and had great service. But, I just discovered they were sold and have new owners as of January 1. So, I guess I can't answer your questions about Peco anymore. Campers Inn Acquires Ga.-Based Peco Campers Tell Tom to go with the Pro Pride. It's easier to adjust up an down, the "stinger" that connects the two half's of the hitch is tapered so it is easier to back into the hitch and several other reasons. Well, before the hijacking begins....... If you are looking at the Hensley, save a few dollars and go with the Pro Pride. I will just give you the first sentence in the story of Jim Hensley. The Pro Pride is an "updated" design by Jim Hensley. Not that the Arrow is bad, they are both great. You will save money on the Pro Pride and their service is excellent. They even gave me a cell phone number to give to the installer so if he had any questions he could get an answer anytime. I will say to anyone, don't tow a long trailer without one of these hitches. Who rely knows. If you read around the web, folks tall about unlimited entry to all parks, 50% discount at any food establishment and "locked in" $40 room rates. I guess the closest I can find is on Wikipedia (everything there is true, right?) Disney Gold Pass. http://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Golden_Pass_(Disney)

thanks Mo, I've read that one and probably a hundred more. Special give aways, Disney Board of Directors, Gold passes and other things are documented, but nothing on lifetime passes for sale. I would, swear we as a family talked about it, but I can't find anything.

OK, anyone have the real skinny on lifetime passes? First, a little background..... We moved to Miami in 1968 when my father retired from the Marine Corps. A few years earlier his buddy had retired and moved to Orlando to work for the Poost Office. His wife got a job with a construction company that when all was said and done were the folks building WDW. She was secretary to some big muckety muck...... All I know for sure was that after they opened we would meet her at the main gate, she flashed a card/ID and we were allowed in. That part I remember well. But, around one of these first tr

I think I would prefer to just open my own bank account to save in. Seems like Disney will make money on the "float" in these accounts...... -
Well, this throws a wrench in our Disney plans. We generally buy 10 day hopper/non-expiring tickets to use over 3 or so trips. Our last trip used the last of our days on the tickets we had. Guess I have to buy them now and hold them...... On edit*********** I picked up 10 day non expiring hoppers at Undercover Tourist to have them.......

They may be #2 by attendance, but TripAdvsior shows them as the #1 rated park in Europe.

Well, looking through their web site there are a lot of "similar" attractions. The best seems to be their own Fort Wilderness.

A Shining New Era is Tiptoeing Nearer for the TCD Gang

North Miami Beach & Ft. Lauderdale area. This is where our family got the Disney bug. Our first visit was at about week three after opening. I stopped counting my different Disney trips at 100. The trips ranged from one night chaperone duty for "Grad Night" trips to week long trips in the Contemporary. It was nice being a few hours away. My brother is still in Miami and they will drive up for dinner and to watch the fireworks. -

No worries - my attempt also. I've only lived here for about a year, so I'm not sure the locals actually accept me. I have moved a lot... California - 6 months New Jersey - 6 months North Carolina - 10 years Florida - 32 years Maryland - 5 years Georgia - 5 years Virginia - 4 years South Carolina - 1 year Just an attempt at humor. I actually have never met a person from South Carolina whom I haven't liked. All the South Carolina Fiends are awesome folks! TCD -
Well, I've scrolled past this thread several times thinking - Ah, Lou has everyone brainwashed. Disney just replaced the trains a few years ago. I guess it's true, time does move faster as you get older. According to the Monorail Society Disney replaced the original monorails at the 17 year mark (1971 - 1989). The replacement monorails have now been in service for 25 years (1989 - 2014) .... can that be true?

From what i see no condenser, it circulates the cold water from the cooler thru a radiator that the air passes through. This means you are taking the "cold" out of the cooler and blowing it on yourself. The water circulating back will be warmer, thus melting the ice faster.
