Two cabins on loop 100
Grumpy and Grandma replied to Catina's topic in Fort Wilderness Loops Information
They are no longer VIP exclusive. I know two children and their families who stayed in them as well. All I had to do was ask. -

Express Check in
Grumpy and Grandma replied to djsamuel's topic in General Camping Discussion and Questions
That's what we had in JUNE a POFQ. Got a text at 11:30 with our building and room #. -
Check into replacing it with a residential refrigerator and a bigger inverter. You coach should have the battery capacity for your overnight Cracker Barrel/ Flying J stops when traveling. Probably cost you about $1,500 for that. We love our residential fridge.

Hope you get better soon. If it's a NORCOLD they have a metal hinge bracket for the doors that failed. Had the same issue on the SENECA.

Gas shortages in the south?
Grumpy and Grandma replied to Beckers's topic in General Camping Discussion and Questions
There's been news stories showing pumps closed and lines at those that are open in TN. There was also a 10¢ price jump in some areas. Diesel isn't affected since the line carried refined gasoline, not crude oil. -
All you have to do is cut through the bushes on each side so why lock the gate.

Back to back/buddy sites?
Grumpy and Grandma replied to ependydad...Doug's topic in Fort Wilderness Loops Information
402/404 won't work since 404 has a long term occupant. -
Back to back/buddy sites?

401/402 would let you set up a shared rear area. Several of the sites in Little Bear 1400 would also give you some shared access without too much inconvienence. I'm sure someone else will chime in. -
Here's the link to FF site classification list, there are more pet loops. Scroll down.

Grumpy and Grandma replied to LONE-STAR's topic in RV Repairs on the Road, at FW and Elsewhere
Just the acetone for me, wipe it down, let the acetone evaporate and stick the tape down. -

I used acetone. It comes in handy for other project cleaning as well. -
Bulldozing River Country?
Grumpy and Grandma replied to Tri-Circle-D's topic in Disney and Fort Construction
Filling it in and not removing the walls and floor allows for it to be ressurected much easier. Remove the dirt, clean it out and wa-la, we have a pool again. -

You're not on the road yet?...... -
All the cabins have the "green" hose on the stump just like the camping sites for primarily grass fires.

That's going to be tough if you have a roof mounted dish. -
Want to take dog
Grumpy and Grandma replied to VFLnSFD's topic in General Camping Discussion and Questions
Take the puppy. Unless there have been major changes pets have been put on every loop. When you arrive just tell them you have the dog. Have fun.
