  1. Just tell the front desk you have to leave a day early. There has never been an issue when we've done it.
  2. Did you have an actual "Smart Trailer". The reason I ask, is when I talked to them they said only to use their 3 wheel version for a GC on the back of a 5er and that FL considers it a trailer and it was illegal since it would be triple towing. That was one reason we never bought it.
  3. Glad all is well, thanks for the update.
  4. The only one I would ever consider is the 3 wheel Smart Trailer unit made in Lakeland, puts little if any weight on the back of the FW.
  5. Rental Details Reservations are not required; rentals are available on a first-come, first-served basis
  6. We actually referred to SOS when it was made with ground beef. Dinner made with chipped beef was affectionally called Creamed f--e sk--s on toast.
  7. You will love that cruise. Highly recommend the whale watching trip out of Juneau that is combined with the Mendenhall glacier. Also do the Whitepass Railroad trip out of Skagway. When you get to Ketchican stock up on some of the smoked salmon.. yummmmy .
  8. These aren't cheap, but we've got the NORCOLD version that we bought in 1977 and it's still going strong. You can get bigger ones too. They aren't much bigger than a cooler https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B01J165FVC/ref=mp_s_a_1_14?ie=UTF8&qid=1497306084&sr=8-14&pi=AC_SX236_SY340_FMwebp_QL65&keywords=ac%2Fdc+chest+freezer
  9. Yep, he definitely needs something to do to keep him out of trouble.
  10. That's about right, but you said an hr from the FORT on the last day that is why I commented.
  11. Your almost 575 miles from the FT at that point, plus you have to go through Atlanta. Don't think you'll do 500 miles in 7 hrs.
  12. Also at exit 350 in GA is Battleground CG (former KOA) 5 miles South of GA TN border. We've used the KOA in Cartersville (45 min N) definitely make ressie, pull thrus fill fast. there is another CG Atlanta Marietta about 30 min N of Atlantan, but we've neve stayed there. Near Alachua is High Springs CG, just N of Ganesville about 21/2 hrs away, be sure & call for a ressie here. They have pull thrus they are configured funny, but they work.
  13. I know 2500 has a couple ADA cabins, but the majority are in 2700-2800. Don't think there is a limit on GC, just keep them on the pavement to be safe.
  14. Hasn't this been in place at the parks for the last couple years
  15. Also some of the higher #s in 1500 back up to the canal. Definitely use app: Ft Wilderness Sites
  16. Model # and Serial # usually they make special models for those club stores.
  17. From what I understand the FORT and WL used to be under one manager, that is no longer the case thus the total seperation.
  18. FRED speaks German too. Wonder what Rodrigo thinks about that?
  19. The problem is two fold, extremely high RV sales over the last couple years and cancellation policies are far too relaxed.
  20. MH's of that size are in 100-200-300(preferred loops) all the time, so it's not really necessary to reserve a premium site. The biggest issue would be how much other stuff you want to set up. As to non-pet, you find pets in every loop now days. Personally I'd spend the extra money for premium, you'll be happier.
