Just tell the front desk you have to leave a day early. There has never been an issue when we've done it.

Glad all is well, thanks for the update.

The Land Sea Land trip to end the drought...
Grumpy and Grandma replied to Specularius's topic in Trip Reports
You will love that cruise. Highly recommend the whale watching trip out of Juneau that is combined with the Mendenhall glacier. Also do the Whitepass Railroad trip out of Skagway. When you get to Ketchican stock up on some of the smoked salmon.. yummmmy . -
These aren't cheap, but we've got the NORCOLD version that we bought in 1977 and it's still going strong. You can get bigger ones too. They aren't much bigger than a cooler https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B01J165FVC/ref=mp_s_a_1_14?ie=UTF8&qid=1497306084&sr=8-14&pi=AC_SX236_SY340_FMwebp_QL65&keywords=ac%2Fdc+chest+freezer

Your almost 575 miles from the FT at that point, plus you have to go through Atlanta. Don't think you'll do 500 miles in 7 hrs. -

Also at exit 350 in GA is Battleground CG (former KOA) 5 miles South of GA TN border. We've used the KOA in Cartersville (45 min N) definitely make ressie, pull thrus fill fast. there is another CG Atlanta Marietta about 30 min N of Atlantan, but we've neve stayed there. Near Alachua is High Springs CG, just N of Ganesville about 21/2 hrs away, be sure & call for a ressie here. They have pull thrus they are configured funny, but they work. -

From what I understand the FORT and WL used to be under one manager, that is no longer the case thus the total seperation. -
FRED speaks German too. Wonder what Rodrigo thinks about that?

Halloween --FW or MNSSHP?
Grumpy and Grandma replied to martindi's topic in General Camping Discussion and Questions
The problem is two fold, extremely high RV sales over the last couple years and cancellation policies are far too relaxed. -
Definite Newbie Question
Grumpy and Grandma replied to chinooker's topic in Fort Wilderness Loops Information
MH's of that size are in 100-200-300(preferred loops) all the time, so it's not really necessary to reserve a premium site. The biggest issue would be how much other stuff you want to set up. As to non-pet, you find pets in every loop now days. Personally I'd spend the extra money for premium, you'll be happier.
