  1. The last couple years there has been better screening of who gets in.
  2. Hot tubs are becoming a rarity not only at CG, but we've been at many hotels/motels where they have been taken out. Yes, I've seen people with the portable units, it depends on whether the CG let's you use the extra water. I think for what you are contemplating set up/heat up would take too long after you arrive to keep DW happy. ?
  3. Which has always been standing open everytime we've gone over for lunch or dinner.
  4. That was done since the Governor requested all hotels and motels waive pet restrictions.
  5. Two Jacksonville men try to steal power pole. I think they might have been a little obvious. Courtesy YAHOO: https://www.yahoo.com/news/2-florida-men-accused-stealing-113610619.html
  6. And DISNEY just donated $2.5 mil to the relief effort as well.
  7. 40' seems to be the critical #, with that said our FW was 42' and never had any issues.
  8. That's why I love On Star, they can route you around all the "parking lots"..
  9. Power must really be a confusing mess. We got ours back at the "Tiny House" after about 6-8 hours just N of 192 on 27 and that crochety ex bus man got his back about 5 pm Mon in Kissimmee. Neither of us had any serious damage.
  10. They have also been asking CM to volunt"ear" to help with cleanup, along with sorting and packaging food, clothing and cleaning supplies at various charities around Orlando. The EPCOT parking lot was used as a staging area for utility crews as well.
  11. And just think how confusing things would be if they did. They already give out enough bad info as it is.
  12. Wonder if the immigration stuff is hitting DISNEY with help leaving. Heard this morning that at AOA the dinning room was not being kept as clean either.
  13. We don't have enough server space for his answer do we?
  14. I haven't seen many that don't accomodate late arrivals, but call ones in the area you expect to hit and ask.
  15. They just spent mucho dollars for a Wi-Fi system, re wired at least 4 loops recently, just changed 2100 to campsites, upgraded the pool snack bar and added the much needed sidewalk heading to the Marina.
  16. No Campland on Mission Bay. And even here hotels are cheaper, Wyndam Bayside right on San Diego Bay is under $200 a night.
  17. "It's become cheaper to stay in their hotel then invest thousands of dollars to bring your own home". His comment insinuates that you only buy an RV for the FORT. And as has been mentioned in many other threads there are many Resort Campgrounds that charge the same price as DISNEY or more during peak times. Here's an example from San Diego which does not provide cable, site is only for 4 people, plus $10.00 per day for a 2nd car, $10.00 per day for a GC, plus $3.00 per day per pet. Site Type Daily Rates for 1-4 People (No weekly rates) Super Sit
  18. That would be true if you only camped at the FORT, but I"ll bet 95% or more travel to other campgrounds during the year.
