I swear I passed the speed channel last week when I was flipping around, but I don't see it on their list, so maybe I had just been in the beer. Also, the cable at Fort Wilderness has changed since I was there in June. Either it's different on the partials vs premiums or the whole place switched over to DirecTV. I know AKL had it in the past, but I've never seen it like that at the Fort. Maybe someone can correct me?

I need to find the picture I had someone take of me trying to "break-in" to the Miata one night and post it. I don't remember whose kid it was or much of the other details around 2am that night, but it seemed like a funny pic at the time.

Yeah, I always have to climb in there to test it out. The first Starcraft I looked at I would have had to have showered on my knees. That wasn't going to happen. I like Jayco a lot, but their trailers really are more geared to large families and groups. I'm specifically looking for something with just a bedroom and larger living space - no bunks. I know from experience that you don't need it 90% of the time, but when you do, you're miserable without it. I found a Kodiak that I like, but haven't found a dealer nearby. I didn't want to leave yesterday, but that's part of the reason I originally planned to. No traffic at all except around the attractions in Orlando. I was afraid of today's traffic. Drive safe and take a break soon.

I'm not familiar with KZ, but they have some NICE rigs. Probably a little too nice for my budget. A friend and her family bought an Evergreen and haven't loved it. She's commented to me several times that it's nice, but she's not sure they'd buy another one. I'll have to follow up with her, though.

So, on my most recent trip, I rented a 2011 Gulfstream Ameri Lite 255 BH. I thought for sure this would be "the" camper, but sadly, it was not. I'm not a patient person, so I was hoping I'd say "Yep, this is the one. I'm going shopping." There were a lot of things I didn't love about the unit, but only a couple of deal breakers. They were probably all options that weren't on this model, with the exception of the shower being too small for me. The globe has been only half-working it seems like for months. Everytime it has to be restarted mid-show. I'm blind, though, so on or off, I still can't see what's on it.

I would skip the Tropicalamity food. It's all pre-prepared and coming from a hot box found in an easy up. It just didn't look appealing. Then again, when is water park food all that great, I guess.

I make no secret of the fact that Illuminations is not only a traditional WDW evening for me, but also my favorite of the nighttime shows at WDW. I'll be sad to see it go, but I won't complain unless the new show isn't good... then I'll complain loudly.

I haven't missed the parks at all. There's so much going on, I'm not sure when I'd have a chance to do anything if we had gone to the parks.
