  1. Yup I have a good friend that works in the WDW ticket distribution dept. and his job is to drive around and call on the authorized ticket resellers in central Florida. He's only one of a few CMs that do the same thing, so there must be quite a few resellers with some offering a discount.
  2. While Undercover Tourist is mentioned the most, there are others. The other popular authorized WDW ticket discount wholesalers are, The Official Ticket Center, Kissimmee Guest Services, Maple Leaf Tickets, Orlando Fun Tickets, and ParkSavers.com.
  3. It shouldn't be an issue if it's after noon or so.
  4. It shouldn't be an issue if it's after noon or so.
  5. I was asking specifically about FP lines. I know it happens in the standby lines, as it's happened to me more than once.
  6. All of you that have used the word "maelstrom", not the ride, during your life, raise your hands. Not seeing any hands.
  7. Really, does this happen? I have never been in a FP line so I've never experienced it, but people actually try to do this, and people in line allow it to happen? That'll be the day.
  8. I've posted everything that I've been able to find on the HUB regarding Maelstrom. Let's just say that you always know what I know, even if it doesn't come from me, right Mo?. Exactly what would Bran Flakes do for me? And that's that.
  9. I'm glad that CM assured you. If only we had CMs on FF.Net that you could ask.
  10. Well if "DisneyQuestions.com" is saying that it's closing, I would bet the farm on it being true. After all, Cassie, the all knowing WDW expert, says, and I quote, "attended Walt Disney World in 1971, and was there during the opening week of EPCOT, and have visited the Disney Parks more than 30 times". Attended WDW, what the heck is that? And holy crap, she's been to WDW 30 times, how are we supposed to compete with all that knowledge? And on top of that, she now has cast members in her family and enjoys hearing the magical stories at the end of their shifts. Again, wow, just wow. I wish I had
  11. Those dates are a problem because a lot of people are off for Christmas and Disney is unlikely to offer the CM discount. They only want us when they need us. We're looking at late Nov, early Dec.
  12. The wording on that review makes it hard to tell if they had front of the line access, which I'm not familiar with or how it works, or if they went in through the VIP entrances.
  13. Could it be that the tour company hires the Disney tour guides?
  14. That may be a mistake. 32830 is the Bay Lake/Lake Buena Vista zip code and there is a PO Box 10000 which among other things is the Public Relations and External Communications location.
  15. It's on their website as well. Below is the full write up for those you chomping at the bit to book it. Character Breakfast Four Seasons Resort Orlando at Walt Disney World ® Resort is excited to offer the Good Morning Breakfast with Goofy & Pals character breakfast twice weekly at Ravello restaurant. The buffet-style breakfast will be offered on Thursdays and Saturdays (and also on Tuesdays during peak school break periods) and will feature a wonderful assortment of traditional breakfast offerings along with an omelette station. A photographer will be on site to capture your wonderful
  16. It's ok Dave, Bamboo is not a Disney character, so he'll never get the letter. Can Bamboo read?
  17. Agreed, I watched a program not long ago that had a similar rig which has been on the market for while. The difference from what I can tell, was that the RV cabin was not a trailer. It was mounted on the bed of the truck but cold flex and pivot so as to not transmit any stresses to the truck frame.
  18. So as is the case with the typical Disney Imagineer, it'll be obsolete by the time it comes out, will take 5 years to build and 5 years to make it work, cost a billion dollars, will be over engineered but under-thought, will breakdown on a regular basis, real world engineers will scratch their heads and think WTF, he'll quit before it's done and stick some poor unsuspecting recent engineering college grad that doesn't know the difference between a socket head cap screw and a bolt which Disney is paying $15K a year, and people who are impressed by the word Imagineer will go ga-ga over and pay $
  19. Sorry Marty, and not to burst your bubble, but you can't count on that. It doesn't mean that it's written in stone. There is an internal calendar that I have access to and I've seen things change on that in a matter of hours.
