  1. If it has all that stuff, and even though it may look like an ordinary GC, the state of FL considers it a Low Speed Vehicle. It sounded much cooler if it was a renegade GC.
  2. What, you don't think that's really me? Josh is a little bit better looking than that actor me.
  3. Being the nice guy that I am, I actually considered writing that in order to save you the time as I'm sure that you're supposed to be working.
  4. If you wanted a quicker, not quick, method, I would have taken the AK bus from the Fort and then the AKL bus from there. 55 minutes is actually a good time. The rule of thumb if you have to be somewhere at a specific time is to allow 45 minutes per transportation leg when traveling from resort to resort. In most cases it won't take that long, but it might. That's the best way to do it. Spring for a Taxi, you've got the money. That's only if you survive. If you were going and coming from the Fort, why a DTD bus? Were the parks closed? If it was during the day, I would have
  5. That would make sense as a GC can be converted into a Low Speed Vehicle if it satisfies the statute? So you've got a hybrid because it exceeds 20mph and so under the FL statue is not a GC. And it's not a Low Speed Vehicle because I'm assuming it does not have seat belts, vehicle identification numbers, and is not registered or insured in the state of FL. Did you have to pay extra for it because it's hybrid?
  6. Had to be. Because teams can't depend on when and if they will all be able to get on a regular Disney bus, especially if they have equipment, it's mainly used by friends, family, and spectators. I don't recall having participants whenever I did had that assignment. That's true for the teams, participants, and during large sporting events, but when they have what is considered normal demand at WWOS, they're able to use the standard Disney buses.
  7. Florida Statutes 320.01 Definitions, general.--As used in the Florida Statutes, except as otherwise provided, the term: (42) "Low-speed vehicle" means any four-wheeled electric vehicle whose top speed is greater than 20 miles per hour but not greater than 25 miles per hour, including neighborhood electric vehicles. (1) A low-speed vehicle may be operated only on streets where the posted speed limit is 35 miles per hour or less. This does not prohibit a low-speed vehicle from crossing a road or street at an intersection where the road or street has a posted speed limit of more than 35 mi
  8. Most people think that Disney owns and is directly responsible for everything at WDW. When you have some free time, do a search on "The Reedy Creek Improvement District.". It's very interesting and it'll explain who owns and manages what at WDW.
  9. As long as they're street legal and can keep up with traffic, that will be better than bicycles. Remember that the roads at WDW are public roads and are not owned or maintained by Disney.
  10. It's very dangerous. Visitors to WDW are not expecting to see bikes or pedestrians on the roads. Buses travelling on a two way road with single lanes will not be able to safely pass you if there is no bike lane, and if there is traffic coming in the opposite direction. That being the case, the bus will stay behind the biker until and if, they can safely go into the other lane in order to pass the biker.
  11. The speed limit for golf carts on public roads is zero. "316.212 Operation of golf carts on certain roadways. The operation of a golf cart upon the public roads or streets of this state is prohibited except as provided herein:"
  12. Although you have every right to do it and contrary to what you'll read, Disney can't do anything about it, I would discourage anyone from biking around WDW day or night.
  13. We'll never know now. Actually I'm not a tour guide, I'm a convention guide, so no tours. We'll sometimes guide groups from one event venue to another, but that's about all the guiding we do. We're the CMs walking or standing around with light sabers and telling you that you can't come into an event.
  14. I'm not picky. That's always a good thing to remember.
  15. Both the MB and hard tickets use RFID technology and are part of MyMagic, is it believed that the hard tickets work better than the MB?
  16. That makes sense because it's the "Wine and Dine Half Marathon" and is based around the F&W Festival. The discussion started after TCD questioned the closing time of the F&W kiosks on a EMH night. The HUB calendar shows them closing at 9pm.
  17. Thanks, but those artists are pros. I was a pro, but it was in CGI (computer generated imagery).
  18. Something doesn't sound right because as shown on the 2014 rack rates chart below, all things being equal, it shows that the GF is more expensive than the Poly. But not by as much as you would think.
