You must be reading different reviews than I am because all the reviews I've seen, even Zagat, consistently give it a 4 to 4-1/2 stars out of 5. They have a varied menu and finding something other than sushi shouldn't be a problem. It is pricy, but you know that going in. I reserve it for special occasions only.

There are designated "pet friendly" loops, but as a practical matter there aren't any "no pet" loops. Even though it may not be a pet friendly loop, you might see dogs. It all depends how busy it is. I'd stick with "The Wave". The reviews I've seen give it an average of 4 stars or better.
