I'd give you an up arrow for that post Bob, but I see that you're ahead of me. So consider that I gave you a virtual up arrow.

Strollers at Disney
Lou... replied to campingmommy aka Kelli's topic in General Camping Discussion and Questions
I can't say enough about monster strollers. And if it's one of the jogging stollers that fits 3 kids and dog, then you'll really get the looks. If the CMs were following the rules at the turnstiles, most of those would be refused entry into the parks as they violate the size restrictions. Yes, there is a size limitation, just like for scooters. Do they enforce it, not usually. Not to mention how easy it is to get on the buses. -
And then there is this one.

DW will do it, but only if we find a 90 foot MH with a two garage. I took it as a no.

You're too late, it already plays, all the time. Do you realize how many times I've listened to "It's a Small World" on the way to the MK? Why do you think I said I was staying away from that site? -
Here's the ironic part. Disney is actually going against the ruling. The ruling states that WDW must allow Segways, but Disney is getting around it by saying that they have performed a safety analysis, considered the factors set forth in the Department of Justice rule and determined that unrestricted Segway use is not safe within their environment, enabling their existing policy to remain in effect.

For all of you Segway users, both of you. A new Department of Justice rule states that a guest may inquire as to why their Segway is not permitted on WDW property. Disney has performed a safety analysis considering the factors set forth in the Department of Justice rule and determined that unrestricted Segway use is not safe within the WDW environment, enabling the existing policy to remain in effect. Wheelchairs and electric convenience vehicles (ECVs) are permitted. Call 407-824-5217 with any questions.

See Lisa, this is more like it. Think off all the money you'd save on Chinese takeout alone. -

Ok, so no sacrifice from you. Jen's a teacher, maybe she'll go to China so I can get the nice gift. I wonder what it is? -
The acquisition of Palo Alto-based Tapulous, Inc. means new Disney mobile apps. Tapulous is a leading developer of music games for the iPad, iPhone and iPod Touch. Through a merger agreement, Tapulous is a wholly owned subsidiary of The Walt Disney Company reporting into Disney Interactive Media Group.

Would you drive to Epcot from FW

There are quite a few people that feel the way you do. Driving yourself around WDW is not for everyone. If you know when to use the buses, the difference between driving and taking the bus may not be that big a difference. When you factor in the time for parking, walking and taking the tram, the time saved is less. If you do use the buses, just stay away from peak times. You always read that there are no resort to resort buses, but during the Christmas season is when I do use the buses to go from resort to resort quickly. This works only if you know the hidden bus routes. It's rare that -
We've been using the Greenies for years. The cheese thing didn't work because Buddy eats the cheese and spits out the pill. He has to take two pills every day and the Greenies do the trick.

Announced today: The Walt Disney Company recognizes that Grad Nite has become a rite of passage for high school seniors and are proud to have hosted this special event for 39 years. Given changing business dynamics and a desire to provide graduates more flexibility in celebrating at WDW, this year?s Disney?s Grad Nite will be the last at the Walt Disney World Resort.

No apology required. I never take the buses either, unless it's more convenient or quicker than driving. Too many of the drivers don't know how to step on the gas pedal. I don't have that problem. There is no question that in most instances, it's faster and more convenient to drive yourself. Buses can't and by no means attempt to compete with driving. Buses are for people that either don't have a car or aren't concerned about time. It sounds like you would be better off driving. -

It's OK, we had this sign made up up just for TCD to keep the accordion playing hippies away if and when TCD gets off his butt. -

You're singing out of key Deb, Let's try it again. Kumbayah, my Lord. Kumbayah! -
Been there a few times and it was fine. But the last time was a couple of years ago. Based on that, I would give it a try. However I'm an Italian food junky and IMO there is no such thing as bad Italian food.

The reason I joined the DB was to find other CMs that camped, but I never did find any. I decided to hang around anyways. I never imagined that it would turn into what it did. I've met a bunch of Fiends from all over the country. I've even met one, BradyBz12, that lives about 15 minutes from where I lived in NH. It's been a fun and interesting experience.
