  1. Because it's not 1971 when somehow they were able to build the then, WDW, in less time than it took to build the 7DMT.
  2. The Maelstrom page on the WDW website has been updated to show the closing date.
  3. Unless I missed it on the announcement, here's a date. Oct 5 is the last day of operation for Maelstrom.
  4. Yes, I guess the full name is 'Frozen Summer Fun’ Premium Package. I'm curious if any Fiends have done it and is it money well spent?
  5. Tom's announcement wasn't too big on dates and details. Oh, btw, Frozen Summer Fun was sold out today, just in case someone is wondering why Disney is pushing it.
  6. Really, who knew? You know your fairies Just too many fairies at WDW to keep track of.
  7. Wasn't that the Fairy Godmother's job? Good thing she has the riding the Segway gig in the parade.
  8. If it being a tourist area is the reason, which I doubt, then why are there two Home Depots within 10 minutes from me. How many tourists go to Home Depot?
  9. As it turns out, I just got home from working the "Frozen Summer Fun" event this morning and while I was at the Premiere Theater, I saw the sign for the the FP line. I also got a ton of people at the stage area asking where the FP line for the Frozen-sing-along was.
  10. I was actually beginning to think that I had met a Ray imposter because there is no way the guy I met could have such a cute wife and even cuter daughter with great personalities. It's good to be Ray. It was nice that we were able to have enough time to get to know each other a little bit. Meeting people like Ray and his family is why I do what I do.
  11. We try to make it a fun board while providing a lot of accurate and timely info about the Fort and WDW. Most Fiends make it to the Fort once a year, but some make it more often. A lot of Fiends have met other Fiends. I have met hundreds and many real world friendships have developed.
  12. That's ok, we're like the Energizer Bunny. We just keep on going whether the original poster is there or not.
  13. I knew I should have checked. That would answer a lot of questions.
  14. Imagine my disappointment when I tuned in thinking, after all I had no other reason to be interested, that they said apple pie. Hey, I thought the people talking about it had a NJ accent. And how will I get in if I'm not a CM? Wonder if I can add whatever makes it work to my flip phone?
  15. Just a wild guess based on what's in that area. The Central Shops facility is next door. Could the calliope be in there to get a refurb and that's the only parking space for the hauler?
  16. Let me expand a little bit. There may be differences between the two trailers as I didn't compare the two, but they are both long, painted blue with the calliope and horses graphics. I couldn't see the lower portion of the one at the MR station to see if it was the one in the photo or possibly a standard trailer. I think they're both like what's on the photo but couldn't swear to it. I'll have to compare features next time.
  17. Yup, they look identical to me. One is usually backstage at the Fort, but once in a while I've seen two there. I saw the first one today while at the Fort, but then wondered if the second one was at the MR/RR service area, so I went over just to check and there it was.
  18. Struck out at the Walgreens near me. I asked and was told that because it's so close to the WDW tourist area, they're not getting any and to try a Walgreens much further out.
