2015 Walt Disney World Calendars

What a coincidence. Are any of your pups in it this year? Hope Fiends buy them. If you're an animal lover or have a rescue, buy, buy, buy. It's for a great cause.- 6 replies

2015 Walt Disney World Calendars
Lou... replied to BradyBzLyn...Mo's topic in WDW and Disney Park Discussions
Really, $20 for a calendar? You're not getting one. I'd take the Border Collie calendar you gave me one year over photos of an amusement park. BTW, put me down for a 2015 BC calendar if they offer it.- 6 replies

Did someone think they got rid of it? It's been on the menu for as long as I can remember. We go about once a year for lunch and it's an automatic for us.

The evidence of a fire had to be minor because even though the Fiend told me he saw it, I didn't notice anything when I drove by. I drove by very slowly and didn't stop, where the Fiend that says there were burn marks, drove by in a GC and may have gotten a better look. If there was a fire, it stayed inside for the most part and it's possible that it was put out by the people inside.

Update, Both trailers have returned to the Fort and are backstage along with the tractor. Nothing of any consequence seems to have been done to the exteriors. I mentioned in an earlier post that I couldn't tell if both trailers looked like the photo posted by TCD earlier. After getting a closer look, they do. They seem to be identical.

The previous entrance sign was fairly small. The new sign is much grander, so we know what that means? $$$$$$$. Even though they've added "Village" to the name, it will still be called "the Poly".

In terms of crowd levels Sept is one of the better times, but with temps still in the low 90s, high humidity, and a fair amount of rain, it can be uncomfortable, unless you're from Atlanta.

I've either been a guest or have worked in 3 of the 4 parks every day since last Weds and can't really say that I've noticed a difference from last year. But that's me. I used WDW transportation, I know it's hard to believe, and it seemed normal to me. My commute to and from WDW seems to be normal for this time of year. The standby line last Wed afternoon on the 7DMT train was 60 minutes. At HM and POTC, it was 15 minutes, and the standby line at SSE on Thursday night was 5 minutes.

All you need is a prominent WDW related website or blog. It's not like Disney is doing you a favor. It's the other way around. They seem to take care of their friends. Another way is to befriend one of the attendees. Most brought guests. -
Food & Wine Festival 2014

The F&WF media event was held today and guess who was one of only two hosts? Yup, moi. Had to wear the formal costume and everything. As the host you greet everyone that attends and give them instructions regarding the event and where to go. All of the usual suspects attended, central Florida newspapers, Disney related websites, PJ bloggers, etc. Deb Willis of "All Ears", the "Disney Food Blog", the "Orlando Sentinel", were there plus all of the others, about 35 in total. I was on the lookout for Kelly's boy friend, Josh of "EasyWDW" but he never showed. Maybe he had to mow his paren -

"I wasn’t super excited about the Sea Scallop with Spinach Cheddar Gratin and Crispy Bacon, one of the Scotland Booth’s three new dishes. But my first bite made me a believer (and then, of course, I had to take a few more bites just to be sure)." I completely agree. Of the 5 kiosks I tried, I liked this one the most. -

Tonight was just the soft opening/CM preview and some of the lines were too long. I can't imagine what they'll be like this weekend. -
I don't remember, memory isn't what it use to be.

Thank you. Show those big beautiful paws, I'm just a feeble little old man who has very few pleasures in life these days. Where's my walker? Right, and left, paws.

I don't know about previous years, but this years calendar shows it every night except for 11.
