  1. Mo, give Susan the highly prized gold star. If you do make it to WDW on Friday and are near the "Frozen Summer Fun" roped off area at DHS during the morning, look for my name tag and say Hi.
  2. Other than IMs, most grunt CMs are not going to risk getting punched in the face by an angry guest by telling him, or her, to put out their cigarette. Gotcha, you're finally over the 75 post mark and now you're fair game. The "happiest place on earth" is Disneyland, and only Disneyland, not WDW. You can redeem yourself by posting the WDW slogan or the MK slogan. Extra points for both.
  3. Because I will never again get a radio message telling me to head over to the Poly and GF and pick up guests and bring them to the MK because the monorail is down again, I don't care. Few days, isn't that being overly optimistic?
  4. Update, hold on, Jason posted photos of it being towed away two days ago. Someone who shall remain nameless, Mo, isn't paying attention. How quickly we forget. Not so fast. The fat lady hasn't sung yet on solving this mystery.
  5. The policy is that there be no visible tattoos, but you can have tattoos. You're out of luck if your position's costume doesn't have a long sleeve option. However, there are positions that require long sleeves, and I'm in one of those positions. Of the next five days on my schedule, three are formal and I have to wear long sleeves. Normally it's short sleeves. But, I have a Typhoon Lagoon event and I can wear shorts.
  6. You're in the unique position of going to WDW often. You notice the changes in prices, but most people don't. People that go once a year, if that, are going to pay the going price or not go at all if it's out of their budget.
  7. As long as the paint pen is the right color, width, and applies in a uniform manner, it's good. If it's a textured wall, the felt type are more forgiving than the solid tips. If it's the liquid acrylic paint and not the paste, it's good. That's what I use and I buy it from anywhere that sells it.
  8. And don't hesitate to use markers instead of paint for certain elements. You can get them in very large flat tip widths. I fill in the character and other items, then out line it with a black marker rather than try to paint the outline. The marker outline gives you a fool proof line width.
  9. The Ohana range is $30 to $60. Right now the price is about $40. I guess that's why they give a range on the websites. They don't want you to be shocked if it's the higher price.
  10. Disney has a couple of pins with Goofy playing volleyball. Do either one of them do anything for you?
  11. Don't know, the page changes often. Here's todays' info. Notice the upper limit of the adult price.
  12. I see you have no clue as to how long it takes to polish a world class collection of ping pong balls.
  13. If only there was a Fiend that had some drawing, painting, and Photoshop ability.
  14. She could always be a mime that doesn't wear the creepy makeup or wear the mime costume. And maybe she could describe what she's doing rather than act out that she's inside a glass box. But I'd keep the Baylor thing as plan B.
  15. Not that I know anything about drawing, painting, or Photoshop, but how about adding part of a volleyball net instead of changing Goofy's outfit?
  16. I think that even in Florida, they play volleyball, so there goes that excuse. But I'd encourage her to be a street mime. How many people can say that they have a street mime in the family?
  17. They do fluctuate throughout the year. Todays posted prices on the Hub starting on the 28th until Oct 29th are $17.03 and $10.64.
  18. Sounds better than a lot of the stuff that passes for TV programing these days.
  19. Ahh, but they're sneaky because they don't use the word adult. It's ages 3-9 and 10+.
  20. Key qualifier, half a brain. What about the guy that will protest because he can't bring in his gun and ride BTMRR?
  21. The internal announcement which is the one I read, worded it as shown below. "and that adult supervision is required for children under the age of 14." And later in the same announcement: "adult supervision for children younger than 14 at the theme parks." Based on the wording of the posted version, a 14 year old is considered an adult in this instance
  22. Along with the clarification regarding e-cigs, weapons, and that kids under 14 must be accompanied by an adult, they also wanted the policy regarding inappropriate attire, including objectionable tattoos, to be made clear. The e-cig policy has been in effect for a while, but people assumed that they could use them everywhere.
  23. It's a technical issue with the link, but the offer is available. You have to call until the problem is worked out.
