Anyone can book the two events, but the "3D" event takes place only on October 3rd, 10th, and 17th. The "Party for the senses" is held only on October 4th, 11th, 18th, 25th and November 1st.

Yup, duct tape. It was built out of 2x4s with a plastic mesh covering, so it took some effort to build it, but It wasn't very burglar proof. I think it was mainly to keep curiosity seekers away and not to keep someone from breaking in.

Rod, It might be of interest to you that the Fiends that bought one of the FWRR cars are currently at the Fort. The story of how and why they bought it is very interesting.

That's not quite accurate. I don't go on a major holiday, so they don't really care. If it's the Poly, I usually don't park in guest parking. And it's not like I have a staring contest with the security CM. I just tell them I'm visiting, which I am. In over 20 years of visiting numerous resorts numerous times during the year, I've never had a problem by just saying that I'm visiting, checking things out, looking around.
