  1. Glad to have the opportunity! Glad you have been reading. Yep, we try to live it up get in as many of our favorites as possible. Keep reading you can see the bitter part. Had a blast and ready for some more very soon.
  2. BTW Lou, I am no stranger now than I have ever been. I just look different wet. The poor lady behind me almost never made it across the shark tank. She got and and got freaked out. Now that was a little strange. You should find time to just go and relax on the sand beach. There is a good mixture of shade and sun. It would be an awesome place to sit and read a book and sip on a drink of your choice.
  3. ON Thursday we went back to Epcot, nothing much more to show from there that hasn't already been covered so we will skip to Friday where we went to AK. Here are a few of my favorite shots that weren't posted "live" earlier in the trip. We went back to the Fort after this day and had a great bike ride and enjoyed the Fort. The last full day of our trips always end at the MK. Here are some shots from the last day there. We hopped over to get our picture taken with Mr. and Mrs. Easter bunny. The lighting was terrible but this is a picture we love to take at Easter. RIP Snow White and RIP Mr
  4. Thanks Doodle. We really loved this day. It was fun and relaxing at the same time. Well if there wasn't there is now...I will be taking votes on how to do the TR for our upcoming trips tomorrow. Only 19 days till we go back. Make the time to go. We are going to Blizzard Beach this time, but I can't imagine it being a better place to relax than TL. I unfortunately never made it to RC, but it would have been right up our Alley. We have a park called Nashville Shores that in some areas reminds me of the pictures I see from RC. If you just want to sit in the shade, or sun, on a sandy bea
  5. If that is at the Fort I may never go back. Nah, but I will take my flashlight at night to the bathhouse for sure.
  6. We have been in sites 2017 at Thanksgiving then 2023 at Easter. We loved both sites but 2023 was a little better for us. At thanksgiving it was quiet at Easter there were some bigger groups and more noise at times. The sites were roomy and private but a ways from the action.
  7. Never mind I mapped it and is further up the lake from the plant.
  8. I grew up as a kid going to work retreats with my dad at a resort on Watts Bar Lake. I have often wondered if there was a campground up there. Just out of curiosity can you see the nuclear plant from the campground?
  9. I did what Carol described this past year and it worked like a charm. No questions, no hassles. Just know your expiration date starts the first time you used the Ticket from undercover tourist.
  10. Well I have been reading a lot of other posts and realized I really need to get the rest of my favorite pictures posted from our last trip. Here is our day at Typhoon Lagoon. And one of my favorite pictures from the whole trip!
  11. Dad never hurls on the teacups! My wife might but not me. We love the Teacups and have to ride several times a trip. Kind of like NASCAR you just go round and round and hope you don't crash hurl. Okay that makes my wife the winner, even though it is a late vote she will not let it go. She got more unofficial votes, big deal. We love those pictures of the monorail and flowers reflecting in the pond. It was quiet right there where we took the pictures and enjoyed taking in the day. Yes my wife is the comedian. Thanks for the complement on the pics. I hope you get to make an appearance in
  12. We have reduced weight as much as possible and if we drive 60 to 65 then our mileage goes up quite a bit. We have gotten as low as 13mpg up to 18 mpg. Shopping down at Walmart is what we do as our sales tax is very high in TN. We have found this past year we drive to Disney for $275 avg (700 miles to the Fort then driving around the World) and we can enjoy a combination of eating at the parks and camper for less than $100 a day. If we ate more at the camper we could cut that easily to $40 a day for a family of four and two boys with hollow legs. The boys get a $75 dollar gift card from Sa
  13. What year was this taken? It must have been before Big Thunder went in.
  14. Dave we can swap one day when we are there my wife would love to take a little girl to something girly. My two boys don't even tolerate dress up anymore.
  15. The mugs were $11.95 plus tax and the total was $34 something. So about $8 for shipping 10-15 days expected arrival. Sorry for the threadjack too.
  16. Just an FYI For anyone else interested, I called 1-877-569-6477 and was able to order two of the mugs! Thanks for your kind offer to get mugs for us! YC
  17. I was flushed for searching for answers! The answers had started the self flushing before the actual flush. See YCs trip report for the details. I am glad to be gone and have a new home! I have read and posted more here in the last 2 months than in 4 years At the other place. Go Fiends!
  18. I'm in and I want 2 mugs! We won't be there until June 1. How can we work this out? PM me if you think you we can pull it off. They were all gone when we were there at Easter and I don't want to risk them being gone before we get back in June. YC...Eric
  19. Site 2017 -- Thanksgiving Week 2011 And we got this really cool treat on this trip. It started my addiction to FF.net
