  1. Park hopping nearly killed Z, so I'm not sure we'll be doing a lot in the near future. The big first was an AP for Jason!!!! I always got outvoted on Nemo. I still think FOTLK is better. Don't you? Here they come!
  2. Don't you think they're bringing more attention by pulling it?
  3. Excellent summary and final thoughts. Your analysis of the ride situation is kind of sad for WDW. It could be so much more! I will make it out to DL one of these days.
  4. Josh has posted a review for Boatwright's. http://www.easywdw.com/uncategorized/boatwrights-dinner-review-and-port-orleans-riverside-merchandise/ Has anyone been?
  5. We called my mom after Z rode EE, and she said she was glad she didn't know beforehand. You need to see Nemo. I can't believe you can even get backstage and haven't. That would be awesome! The same thing you describe happens with us every trip, but this time I put my foot down. We were seeing Nemo. I almost caved because of the new FOTLK theater, but I'm glad I didn't. It is instinct! Z won't let me touch him on BTMRR though. Z is getting big. The cool thing is that every age becomes my new favorite with him. I hope that keeps happening. You know I'm not the best influence wit
  6. Excellent report! Fresh dipped corn dogs rock. DL CP? I bet it happens. A close friend of mine's daughter did it if they want to chat with someone with experience. She loved it and is currently back at Georgia Tech. Without looking it up, I'm wondering if DVCcamper's flags say "DVC."
  7. I actually enjoyed Frozen, but I'm too the point I'm over it. I disagree that it's just like all princess movies. One thing that I loved about it was that the princess doesn't need a man to save the day. It also has catchy songs. I think it will have the same staying power as The Little Mermaid and Beauty and the Beast.
  8. Wait, you can't be home. Go back to the Fort and elaborate on my genius! Seriously though, I have this site and Josh to thank for me finally getting over there. And we'll be back there soon.
  9. Welcome!!!!!!!!!!!!! Congrats on booking the Fort! A Grand Gathering is where a bunch of Fiends decide to meet up and camp together for a weekend or so. There's usually a lot of yapping and eating involved. :)
  10. First of all, WELCOME!!!! And congrats on deciding to try RVing. Where are you driving from? A cheaper option might be to rent from one of the companies that will actually set the camper up at the Fort for you. Of course, then you miss out on the experience of traveling in it. With the crack down, it's best not to discuss the details of outside golf carts in the regular forum. I'd call the company and ask them for specifics.
  11. We left off on the way to Expedition Everest, my favorite rollercoaster. Z decided that he was ready to ride it this trip. We’d measured him at home, and he was tall enough, but barely. After reading about some discrepancy in measuring sticks, we brought the cowboy boots for good measure. I didn’t want him to be brave and get turned away. Side note, I’ve always loved this bus/food stand. The boots put him well over the line. Whoooo Hoooo! Blurry queue Good theming I forgot to mention that at the safari, our MBs were only scanned once… at the beginning. Here at Everest, we sa
  12. Well, I had a feeling it was coming. Z looks a little concerned, but I told him I thought it was about to happen. The girl behind me screamed and hid. I don't have anything to compare it to though. I wouldn't hold your breath... I don't see Jason trying to convince anyone to go to Disney. He's a weird creature. He's reluctant to go and doesn't get AT ALL excited about the planning, but then when we're there, he LOVES it. He'll even admit he's loving it while we're there, but only while we're there. Could it be Disney magic? See below. I fixed that for you. Amen She
  13. Big fail on my part. I blame Jason for distracting me while I was writing. I added this above.... So what were our thoughts? Z LOVED all the items along the queue. He wanted to stay longer and look at stuff (the line was moving). He thought the ride was so-so. I had warned him that a dinosaur was going to jump out at some point, so we made it kind of a game to find it. We all agreed it was so-so. Z liked the queue and the store more than the ride. That's not a good sign! We got the animal sheet at the ticket window. I've never seen one before either. OK, I stink. See comment a
  14. I knew it; the candy cane is a fraud! I love all the historical stuff you're sharing. Very cool. I wish they'd bring parades back to the other 3 parks in the World.
  15. Z loves the sand in the dark too! Why is it so much cooler than sand during the day? Thanks for sharing with us.
