  1. Nice update! I love the letter. I could definitely do Christmas in a tiki hut.
  2. It’s time to say goodbye. Goodbye Fort Christmas tree. I hope I will be seeing you again sooner rather than later. Goodbye Settlement We caught the bus to the Outpost. Jason and the RV were waiting on us. Sad day. I’ve heard they aren’t allowing RVs to park at the Fort during cruises, etc. anymore. Well what are these people doing? I did wonder if we could sneak over there and camp for a couple nights. We hit the road to travel North. And that’s all. We stopped at Jason’s sisters for some Christmas festivities and made it home the next day. Final thoughts…
  3. The plans at easwdw.com work really well. DIT used them with his family and really liked them.
  4. I think they're releasing both stretching rooms too close together. I know to stand near the umbrella lady, so I was one of the first out of our room. I'm wondering if they suspended the rule at Pirates as well. And can you believe people actually wait 40 minutes for that ride? It's was a bummer we couldn't extend. And yes, we had to stay on-site because we didn't have a car. The truth was, we really just wanted to hang at the Fort. I'm sad too. And yes, it was nice of Jason to let us go play a bit. He's a pretty great guy!
  5. All good things come to an end, and we’re almost there. It’s December 27th, check out day. I forgot to mention that Jason suggested we extend our stay the night before. (Yes, Mr. I Don’t Like Disney suggested that!) Sadly, everything was booked. I even begged and pleaded at the front desk. We considered getting a hotel room, but the only one was around $1000 a night, and that wasn’t in the budget. So we had to leave on the 27th. Bummer. But Jason did suggest that I take Z to the MK while he got the RV ready. So, I did. The last time down the path of awesomeness. A boat was about t
  6. I kind of remember that truck being behind a wall. I wonder if Josh took pics of it, and I saw it there. Or I could just be imagining it. We really enjoyed the 100 loop, TCD!
  7. Uh oh... more pictures? I've heard about it, but I'm keeping it secret from Jason. Shhhhhhhhhhhhhhh
  8. It’s time for a short update. I’m going to finish up December 26th. This report is almost over. This was our last night. Don’t worry though; there’s still some fun to be had on the 27th. My Disney shirt Kid at Heart has been featured in this report, and it’s very accurate for me. Earlier in the day when Ray and his DD were at our site. I asked Ray if they’d be up for riding Space Mountain later. I had a rider switch pass and hadn’t gotten to ride it yet. He said probably. I *might* have also mentioned it to his DD to seal the deal. See, I’m bad. So once people were leaving the GG, I headed
  9. It was an awesome trip. I'm really hoping I can talk Jason into a repeat this year. The GG was a blast! Mr. GDF is a huge dork, but I love him. The ham is good, simple but good. You would enjoy a BGE. Remember, I didn't believe the hype until we bought one.
  10. The ones we recently had for Space and RnR were good for 3 or 4. I can't remember which.
  11. But that could be a monorail in current operation. It's a rendering of Epcot all in purple and blue shades. Nothing is the color that it actually is in real life.
  12. All MBs you have are clones of themselves. For example, I have about 8... my 8 are all "the same" when using them. If your tickets are in MDE and connected to each of you and you never deactivated your bands, you're good to go.
  13. He's using a Loof Lighter. They're pretty cool and light a grill or camp fire very quickly. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PD4TirOHEqI Well, I just like to make fun of him. It keeps our marriage strong. Fiends and Fiend kids are awesome! And you're right; there are no strangers among us. All the food was awesome! While it was supposed to be "apps," I'm sure everyone was full by the end. The seats aren't a huge deal. I think they'll last another year without the wear being too bad. You really do have to look for it. Thanks for adding a picture. More cuteness! We r
  14. I loved it as a kid, and Z loves it now. Brings back memories for me. But I also like COP. :)
  15. I'm just saying though.... the whole mug is in purple and blue tones, even stuff that's not that color. Was there really an uproar? Didn't someone die on Mission Space? Should they not have pictures with Mission Space in it because of that?
  16. We arrived back at the Fort and hopped on the cart. Jason started the BGE because we had a ham to smoke. The recipe is really simple. It’s actually my mom’s holiday ham recipe cooked on the BGE. We’re cooking indirect here, which means that the plate setter is blocking the direct flames and making the egg more like an oven. You buy a non-spiral sliced ham. I believe this one was just under 8 lbs. I put pineapple slices and then baste it with a glaze of pineapple juice and brown sugar during cooking. Here we go. I interrupt this cooking for a bit of bad news about the golf cart
