  1. I used to. It's kind of a control thing. You do get to park free. In some cases, it's not worth it though. Like when going to the MK, you have to park at the TTC and monorail or ferry to the MK. It's easier just to boat to the MK. We don't drive to Epcot because generally enjoy adult beverages there.
  2. I realized while discussing it on facebook that I never posted the breakfast fatty here. YUM!
  3. I think most of us are here because we love Fort Wilderness, but if you were a newbie to this forum, you might not believe that. There are a lot of issues with the Fort, but it's still my favorite place to be. So.... what do you love about the Fort? I love.... having a fairly calm and quiet place to escape the craziness of the parks. taking the boat to the Magic Kingdom. watching Z catch lizards and play in dirt. riding my golf cart to eat dinner at the Settlement. watching fireworks on the beach. putting Z to bed and sitting around a fire with my hubby. meeting other Fort F
  4. We'll let you stay! Ha ha! I was once told by a CM at the Settlement that the resort boat didn't run until 8. Yeah, he worked near the boat dock. LOL
  5. Your meat market must be a lot cheaper than mine. Where do you get deals like that?
  6. I appreciate inexpensive meals, but I also believe that some meals are so good that they're "worth" it even though they're expensive. My #1 in this category is `Ohana. I also think the HDDR is worth it sometimes. It's a great show and good food. Plus, adult beverages add to the value. I currently think the Backyard BBQ is worth it to splurge once a year. This is because Z absolutely loves it, and I enjoy seeing him interact and dance. We really enjoyed our romantic dinner at Narcoossee's and would dine there again for a special occasion. So what meals at Disney do you consid
  7. I posted this in response to someone, but thought it might be a fun thread on its own. We all understand this is relative because we're talking about Disney, but what are your favorite Disney meals that are a good deal, maybe because they're big and can be split or maybe because they're not that expensive to begin with. Here are mine: 1) Giddy Up and Go takeout dinner at Trail's End- Request all white meat and you get 10 breasts. This can feed most families for under $30. 2) Pizza at Via Napoli in Epcot (TS)- This is a cheap meal if you stick to the pizza. The pitcher of sangria
  8. That sandwich looks good. I need to get the turkey, apple, brie one for lunch or dinner on my next trip. The Tree of Life looks even cooler than before. I'm excited to see it in person. Do you think FP+ would be needed at FOTLK the day before Easter? I'm on the fence and can't decide.
  9. Do not worry. The Fort is my favorite campground. You'll have a blast.
  10. If you don't rent a cart, I'd bring bikes. Yes, there are racks where you can lock them up. I think you'd want to park your truck elsewhere, but some sites might be deep enough. There's an app that someone smarter than me will link here that gives you site lengths.
  11. Thank you for reading! The costume stage is a fun one. Kids who love to sleep late rock!
  12. Yes! I've talked to some of my teacher friends in other states, and it seems like a lot of added fall breaks this week.
  13. Yep, I agree POTC and JC. First birthday trip! Y'all are bringing him up right! BTW, I hope you post about Grayton Beach. That area is more appealing to us now that we have the golf cart. Some of those sites are really small though. That worries me.
  14. How did I forget about Robin Hood? My memory is failing. That's not good. And believe it or not, I don't read my boyfriend's forum as much as I read here. Don't tell him. Well, when we were at AK, the posted wait for Dinosaur was 20 minutes... that's really pushing it for me. The estimated wait was 11 minutes. We were OK with that, and it really was that long. In that case, the posted was almost double. I agree that it's a shame that they don't have information about the buildings at DHS. I will look at it with new eyes when we return. That build your own pasta station was LAME.
  15. Preferred loops are the ones closest to the Settlement. Premium loops are kind of in the middle.
  16. `Ohana is a bit difficult for a good dining time, but I've done it. :fork:
  17. It also means ADRs at MK restaurants would be easier to make. On the days I've checked the day of, MK is the hardest ADR to get. There are always some in Epcot because there are so many choices.
