  1. Continuing on with date night, we checked into the California Grill. This particular week, Wishes was running at 9PM, so I think our ADR was for around 7:50. We decided to check in early and request a window table. We were willing to wait at the bar a bit if needed. We headed up on the special elevator and sat at the bar for a drink. This was our view. Pictures really don’t do it justice. It was AMAZING! (Maybe that will bring out the Troll.) You can see people were already occupying the window tables in the bar, but there were empty tables in the bar and seats at the bar. Before lo
  2. I was so glad about the TIW card as well. Things are looking up around here. Thanks for reading along and Go Dawgs!!!!
  3. Here comes an update! Me too! :) Thanks for sticking around. I'm excited to finish it. Right? It was a good think since I was in a hurry. :) I know, right? She actually didn't have the golf cart though. They used the internal buses or walked. Jason knew we'd be coming back pretty late and didn't want to mess with a bus. Have I told you about the time we almost sent my mom back to NJ early for trying to teach Z the Gator chomp? True story. If you'll do it for half price minus the chomp, we'll let you use the cart. True... See above. No wa
  4. Man, I bet dragging a tired kid 3/4 a mile to the parking lot after a long day is fun.
  5. Guess what? I’m restarting this report… of course, the details of some things are a little fuzzy now, but we’ll go by pictures and see what I can do. When we left off, we were on the bus. I was freaking out because my TIW card was missing, we were eating at the CG that night… we’d definitely want it! I was hoping it was back in the RV, but it wasn’t. I called Disney and got connected to Tutto Gusto. Lucky day! It was there. But that also meant that I had to get to Epcot and back before our date. But a replacement is $50, and we were going to save a bundle by using it that night, so it was
  6. I got very behind but caught up now! Bummer about all the construction, but I can't wait to see Disneyland Paris!
  7. Nice start to the evening, but it sounds like it won't have a good ending. Just curious, how far in advance did you make the dining reservation?
  8. That looks like a perfect day! And those donuts... oh my! When you splurge, you do it right.
  9. I believe the main bar and restaurant there are owned by the same people who own La Cava and San whatever the place inside is called.
  10. My mom and I split an individual pizza and an app and couldn't finish our food. With a pitcher of sangria, it was a Disney bargain.
  11. Great start to your trip! I'm always tempted by the Swalphin, but the extra fees add up. Looks nice though, and you got a deal!
  12. Good point about how they could have done some of that for the 24 hour event though.
  13. I got way too far behind, so too much to comment on. I can't believe the London Eye is $90! Love Pulp Fiction! I'm an English nerd, so I'd love to visit the Globe, even though it's a replica. But the best part.... Big Green Eggs in London! Wow! Maybe that will help me talk Jason into going?
  14. My husband owns a company that hosts websites... but that's all I got. If you need that, you can PM me.
  15. Most of us fax a request about 5 days before check in.
  16. I'm agreeing with this article. I dream about Via Napoli pizza, and Jason and I ordered a coffee BBQ flat bread at CG, and it was delicious.
