  1. I love Savannah, seafood, and beer! Looks like you had a great time despite being sick. We ate at the Pink House for our anniversary one year and loved it.
  2. I was skeptical, but it's worth it. We haven't used our gas grill a single time since we got it. I guess we need to craigslist it. The egg heats up about as fast, and the flavor is out of this world good.
  3. Not at all! I'm about to make peach cobbler, so I actually have the book right next to me. This is a recipe for a 12-14 turkey, so adjust the amounts based on your bird size. 2 quarts apple juice 1 lb brown sugar 1 cup kosher salk 3 quarts water 3 oranges, quartered 4 oz fresh ginger sliced thin 15 whole cloves 6 bay leaves 6 large crushed garlic cloves Combine apple juice, brown sugar, and salt in a large sauce pan. Bring to a boil and stir to dissolve salt and sugar. Boil 1 minute and bring to room temp. Once room temp, add remaining ingredients. Brine in fridge for 24 hours. They don't say
  4. It is AMAZING! My husband wanted one for years, and I finally surprised him with one last year. I call it the best present I ever bought myself. LOL. We use it 3-4 times a week. They are expensive, but totally worth it because you can do so much on it. He's making ribs now, and afterward I'm going to make peach cobbler on it. It will be my first dessert!
  5. My Big Green Egg cookbook has a recipe for brining a turkey, but I haven't tried it yet. Everything I've made out of the book is excellent though. It's an apple-brine but does have ginger. Let me know if you want it, and I'll post it.
  6. Disney Food Blog is releasing a holiday e-book. I'm not sure how much it will cost though.
  7. While it will be nice to get real coffee, I don't like this.
  8. Can't wait to hear more. I want to talk my hubby into AP someday, even if we just do it for a year.
  9. Hope she sees this because the OP says she has a pup now but might upgrade. I'd wait to upgrade!
  10. We have a dinner ADR for our trip, but lunch sounds good too. I guess it would be silly to eat there twice.
  11. Good point! I should have mentioned that I'm ordering them for kids in our family. Christmas gifts!
  12. This is a great deal on a gift item. The personalized blankets are on sale for $10, and your whole order ships free. http://www.disneystore.com/mn/1008601/?CMP=EMC-eml&att=20121105_FREEPZFSH&RRID=15777149
  13. We're spending a lot of Fort time vs. park time on our next trip. I wasn't planning on going to Whispering Canyon, but I've been reading a lot of good stuff about it. Is it a "must do?" We won't be on the dining plan, so it would be quite a bit more money than eating at the RV, but sounds like it could be fun.
  14. Real bacon?!?!? I HATE normal Disney bacon. They even serve that pre-cooked crap in the castle, so this is big news!!!!!!!
  15. Exciting! I'll second what Dave said. Also, keep in mind the weight of what you put in it.
  16. In no particular order.... Alaska safari in Africa Venice, Italy England Egypt (but sadly, looks like it may never be safe to do so)
  17. Pretty dog! And nice site! Looking forward to hearing more!
  18. I'm in! Hoping you got to enjoy it even with the storm and forgotten clothes.
