  1. Welcome!!!! We would have to choose towing a car or towing a golf cart, so it doesn't make sense for us to buy one. HOWEVER, DH still wants one. I'll admit, they are fun! If you will use it other places as well, it might be worth it. If not, I'd rent from one of the non-Disney cart rental places.
  2. Planesland.... just thinking because of the new movie. It could be a tie-in but not a replica.
  3. Here's more info from Disney Food Blog... News! “Tapaz” Waterfront Restaurant May Be On The Horizon at Epcot’s Morocco in Walt Disney World Dec 22nd, 2012 by AJ. We’ve got exclusive details from the operator of Disney World’s Morocco pavilion restaurants about a fantastic new development that has been green-lighted for Epcot’s World Showcase in 2013! We all know about that lovely waterfront event space next to the Mo’Rockin’ stage, right? Well guess what — this gorgeous real estate might soon house a brand new RESTAURANT! Tapaz Restaurant Reportedly breaking ground in January 2013, the new T
  4. Originally I thought this was only going to be around holidays, but it sounds like it's going to be something every week. I'm interested to see what kinds of things they do.
  5. Glad you are having a good time! I'm pretty sure that we paid $3 extra for all white GAG last April, but they gave us all breasts, so it was a ton of food and well worth it.
  6. I'm in and interested to hear more. DH and I have talked about travelling by train but never have. Can't wait to hear more!
  7. I intend to be in that number too, and I AM a planner. Still, my opinion of it it all depends on how many "things" you can reserve a day. And they aren't saying. I'm also following your line of thinking on charging somehow. They have spent A LOT of money on this. Disney doesn't spend money unless they can make money. There is an app and a website, and Disney says you'll be able to change your plans as you go. BUT, I bet it will be as easy to change your plans to ride TSM or RR later as it is to get an ADR to Chef Mickey's the day of.
  8. I wonder about that RD part, though, because the number of FP+ that you can schedule is limited, and they are doing away with traditional FP. Sure, if you just want to do a few attractions that you can schedule, RD won't be important. But if you want to hit a lot of stuff in one day (or if you want to ride a popular attraction twice), it would be important to hit RD for all the attractions you can't schedule or don't have room in your allotment to schedule. And RD will likely be the only time with reasonable standby waits. One thing I do like about this is DH and I are planning an Epcot aftern
  9. From Touring Plans Blog, this is one person's experience as a FP+ tester. http://blog.touringplans.com/2012/12/19/my-experience-as-a-fastpass-tester/#more-34911
  10. Loving the details! I hope my son gets a part in the show.
  11. This is a great site to get free range, all natural chicken breasts and other meats. Right now chicken is on sale. They only do 1 product at a time (and that's kind of a pain). I've only ordered chicken, but I can say it's great, and at $1.89 a pound (price does vary with the market) it's a great price. You have to order 40 lbs at a time, but the bagging and freezing is worth it if you have the space. I've seen them go farther south, so if you live that way, it might still be worth registering for updates. They deliver to set locations in each city, and you just show up for the delivery. http:
  12. Tutto Gusto looks great. Thanks for the menu link. We’re big wine people (I know all the folks from chat are shocked). Now if I could just talk them into a burata mozzarella app with stewed tomatoes… are you reading this Disney?!?!? They have the burata pasta dish, so it’s not a stretch. Maybe I’ll get lucky. The only place I can find it is when I visit NJ. That seafood dish at BOG looks awesome. I think that’s what I’ll order. And the onion soup. And a Grande Slam…. (maybe on that last part, but if no one does it sooner, I will have to take one for the team) What a cool nighttime golf cart par
  13. This is how you can tell TCD doesn't have little, little ones, LOL.... Last year they added Jake and the Neverland Pirates. Come on TCD, how could you miss that?!?!?! But in other cases, you are probably right.
  14. What's the thing you are MOST looking forward to? Just one! (Hard question, huh?) I'm excited about the New Fantasyland stuff, but the thing I'm most looking forward to is my dad joining our family at Disney. I haven't been to Disney with my dad since I was 15. My son is soooooo excited about his Pop Pop coming, and my dad can't wait to see Zachary's reactions to things. I think it's going to be an awesome trip!
  15. What are your dates? Maybe Disney Jr will have a soft opening? That does stink that they were closed for you last year too. My son loves that show.
  16. I didn't specify actual site numbers, but I might next time. I just said we wanted 1400 and explained why.... young son so wanted to be near campfire/pool, didn't want pet loop because of noise (we've had issues at other campgrounds where people leave their barking dog all day), etc. If you want 1400, just say that, why, and give some numbers.
