  1. Some of our friends want to tent camp at the Fort. Is there any specific advice you would give tent campers? They have 2 elementary age kids, and they would only be staying 3-4 days (They're adding a Disney trip to a work trip.)
  2. Loving this report! Back to the ham, you don't add any liquid? I'm guessing it's the spiral sliced kind?
  3. Right, I understand it's beta. I was just pointing it out because people have been wondering if it will be possible (and if so how) to link paper tickets they already have to the system. It looks like they're getting ready to let people do that.
  4. I signed into my Disney Experience and thought I noticed something different. And I did. There are 2 new words..... "And tickets" I was pretty sure they weren't there before. Then I read a thread on easywdw where someone was showing online check-in awhile back. And sure enough, it didn't have the part about tickets. There isn't the option to add tickets yet, but it looks like its coming. When you click now, this is what you see. My guess is this is going to let you link tickets you already have to magic+ and FP+.
  5. I'm late to the party, but.... 1) This GA girl loves WaWa! There's no way in hell I'd eat food from a regular gas station, but there, it's good. 2) Publix subs do rock, but South Jersey subs are better... and they call them subs. 3) I LOVE the PL photos! How cool about being recognized during the parade!
  6. Glad my post could help a TCD trip report! Very cool stumbling on all those characters!
  7. Loved this report! Great pictures and story! What are your spring break dates? We're there March 29-April 7.
  8. Since you can do 2 for $20, this will save my family of 4 quite a bit. Thanks for posting!
  9. It says you must be 18 or older. That's just to purchase, right? You don't have to be 18 to go up, do you? My 4 year old wants to do this.
  10. I think photo size is one key. I like to be able to see the whole picture on my screen. I'll leave the rest of the suggestions to the masters.
  11. I want to do more crockpot cooking on our longer camping stays (Fort and the beach). I know there are some good crockpot recipes that have been shared in various threads. If you have a good one, please post it here.
  12. The rain is here in GA too. We're flooding, and more is coming tomorrow. I can't remember what the sun looks like.
  13. I'm wondering about this too. Why would Disney let in competition, especially competition for their high end rooms? How much did they sell that land for?!?!?!
  14. OK, I'm think I have to run there when we go back. I always do at Topsail but haven't at the Fort. I should though, even though we walk a ton on park days. Thanks for inspiring me!
  15. Jello shots and fries for all! Woooo hooooo!!!!
  16. Non-Disney makes sense in some situations, but with a little one, i love the boat to the MK and the space the Fort provides. Plus I like having a kitchen. What about renting a trailer that would be delivered to your site?
  17. T-Rex at DTD has a Build-a-Dino by Build-A-Bear, so they already have a relationship.
  18. I'm in, but all those food pictures made me hungry!
  19. http://www.allergyfreemouse.com/2013/01/big-news-dole-whips-are-now-dairy-free-maybe/ Big news! Dole Whips are now dairy free, maybe By : Allergy Free Mouse | In : Misc, News Tags: Aloha Isle, Dairy Allergy, Dole Whip, Gluten Free 1 We’re still researching this, but a reader notified us of Dole pineapple soft serve ingredient changes on the Precision Foods website. Basically, they have reformulated it removing the sodium caseinate (a derivative of the milk protein) which now qualifies it as truly dairy-free, lactose-free and gluten-free, as well as free of the other food allergy ingredient
