  1. I'm loving reading this post with all the pics, prices, and reviews...... YUM http://www.disneyfoodblog.com/2013/03/06/full-review-2013-epcot-flower-and-garden-festival-food-pictures-booths-menus-and-prices/
  2. I have a friend spending the weekend with us at the Fort, and we are eating at Mickey's Backyard BBQ and Trails End. Have you had any success there? I have a call in to the Backyard BBQ, but they didn't call me back today.
  3. After all these warnings, I am VERY scared of the picture already.
  4. I also see the word "EVIL" on the sock.... maybe it's Stever Spurrier in disguise. I would also like to take this time to note that the Everest Challenge ends with a party in Animal Kingdom open to race participants and their paying guests.... Animal Kingdom after hours sounds cool!!!!
  5. Welcome to the party!!!!!!!!! I'm a super planner too, so I understand what you're saying. I did use an agent this time for my site only. I still do all my own ADRs. Using an agent saved me about $75, and I'm happy with that because I'm staying during a holiday week. I know on non-holiday weeks you can save MUCH more. Continue to ask questions. We love to help!
  6. I think it still is the cheapest buffet. And we'll stuff ourselves enough that it will be breakfast AND lunch.
  7. For what it's worth, I think all sides of the "debate" have valid points. When we first started looking for a PUP, we found we could get what we wanted new for $12-13K, we could get a slightly used one for a little less, or we could get a crappy, old one cheap. There seemed to be no middle ground. Then we saw we could get an AWESOME Used TT for under $15K, so that's what we did. It was almost new and had retailed a few years before for $27K. There are good deals in used PUPs, but I think they're harder to find than deals in used trailers.
  8. Hmmmm maybe I will let Z collect these. They are small and cheap, and I have a change jug. Shiny pennies are important, huh? I haven't made one of these in years.
  9. Z is hit or miss... Sometimes he nibbles, sometimes he devours. I wouldn't usually spend that much on breakfast, but it's for Easter morning, and our friends who are staying the weekend are going home after breakfast. I figure it will be easy to do the Easter morning festivities and grab breakfast. Plus I have a golden egg to hunt for later. Any Fiends want to be on my virtual team for the clues??
  10. Can anyone confirm the price of the Trails End breakfast buffet for adults and children? Thanks in advance!
  11. Partial and preferred sites are already sold out for your dates, so I'd call.
  12. For some reason, I'm not really sure why, I like the CoP. So there, I said it.
  13. Keep the race pics coming! I bet the cast members love having character duty with all the sweaty people. Think they draw straws for that? I can't help but noticing that there are a couple of numbers missing between the girls and you. Did you have people bail out on your fun? I have never done the Everest race, but I like that it's a little different, and it's at night. They keep parts of Animal Kingdom open just for the after race party. Fiends 2014!!!!!
  14. The love around here..... it's intense..... :heartsmiley:
  15. We didn't see it either. Everyone seems to like it though.
  16. Soarin doesn't bother any of us, that's one reason I worried.
  17. Is Bubbles the one at Storybook Land? I'm up there at least once a year. I'll probably go in July.
  18. For once (OK, maybe twice), I agree with Lou. GROSS!!!!!!!!!!!! Love all the race pics!!!! We need a mega-Fiend race event. I vote Expedition Everest!!!!! It's a 5K with obstacles and clues you have to solve at the end. Short enough for easy training, but packs brain power and a little extra challenge.
  19. He's never been on a ride he's scared of. He likes small roller coasters at the Boardwalk and Storybook Land (for our Jersey folks). He went on a mini ride that drops you straight down on the Boardwalk and loved it. (I was on it with him and thought he'd freak out, but he started laughing.) He's not afraid of dark rides. This will be the first year he's tall enough for BTMR and a few others like Star Tours. I guess I'm most worried it will make him sick.
  20. I haven't ridden the new Star Tours yet. I took one for the team last year and stayed with Z while DH and DD rode. Both said the new one made them kind of queezy. DH isn't sure about taking Z on it this year even though he makes the height requirement. What are your thoughts?
  21. Brag away!!!!! Sounds like a great program and a wonderful oppertunity. I'm a big fan of special programs like that at large universities. I think it gives the kids a way to make strong connections/community and not get lost in the high numbers. You MIL is a good lady. I'm not sure I could do that. Looking forward to hear what Twin 2 decides. It's good she's taking her time and making the right choice for her.
  22. Maybe we should post flyers about the Big Blue pool and post them around the Fort pool. Glad you found some new friends. :) So Twin 1 decided on UF, how soon will Twin 2 decide? And what program is Twin 1 going to be in?
