We leave tomorrow!!!! We're leaving after work, so I'm not sure how far we'll get. We will need to stay somewhere along 75 overnight and check in at the Fort on Friday. Last time we stayed at a campground that had special overnight campsites that you just pull in, but I can't remember what it was called. Someone here recommended it. Can anyone name that campground? Anyway, I'm looking for other options depending on how far south we get. Based on reading here, I know we don't want to stay at In and Out.

Very true! Very true! And I can take it. I prefer to make fun of the people waiting in a 2 hour line for any attraction though.

Ha ha! I put my anticipated touring plan in the notes app in my iPhone, update as we go (they aren't set in stone), and note times when I remember. Because I'm a teacher, we seem to only go during busy times, and I hate waiting in line. For me, planning is part of the fun. I haven't. I've always heard bad things about it, and their menu doesn't look great to me. I LOVE seafood, but seafood is more than a couple shrimp, clam, and tilapia items. Where's the grouper? Mahi mahi? Crab legs? Lobster (other than a mayo covered special)?

You'd be surprised what you can get accomplished if you get there for the 7am RD and tour wisely. Here is what we did, ironically the Tuesday before Easter, last year. That was before New Fantasyland and BTMRR was closed for refurb. Still, we did a lot and took a break. That's why I plan to exclaim on a regular basis during my visit.... "Isn't it awesome that they keep the Big Blue pool at AoA unlocked? It's so much better than this pool!!!"

I'm guessing they don't allow specific sites because it would leave a site open for just a day at times between ressies. It can be annoying for the reasons you mention. I've heard that they will allow you to change sites if you call them and tell them you can't back in, fit, etc.

First, make sure the parks don't open before 9 when you go. I know people get upset when they have that 8 AM ADR, and they move park opening to 8. I had a good experience for breakfast at CRT. The food wasn't awesome, but it was pretty good, and the kids loved it. It's really expensive though. I wouldn't do it just to walk down Main Street before opening. We actually got one of the last breakfast seatings, and it was like a brunch for us, so that helped justify the cost since it replaced 2 meals.
