Z got some major Disney magic this morning for his birthday from Dave (Devores), but all you get is a tease until the real trip report. Unless you're Lou or TCD.... One helped and the other came to visit today.

Last night ended with some time at the fire. We were tired, so we just took a couple pictures, roasted a few marshmallows, and headed to bed.

It's nice of them to get all dressed up for my birthday!

Met BuckeyeFortMama and BuckeyeFortFan. Our friends are here and we just finished dinner.

We stopped at the Wildwood KOA. Nothing fancy, but it was $30, and the guy running it was nice. We're back on the road, and an hour from the Fort. Yippee!!!!!! Get me to Disney!

Well, I've got several hours on my hands, so I figure I'll start my live trip report. I'll do a real trip report when I get home too. The cast is me (obviously), DH, Z who will turn 4 Saturday, and my dad. Dad has never camped with us, and he hasn't been to Disney in 18 years. We're in our 35 foot Class C. The plan was to leave after work today. DH wanted to wait longer to avoid traffic. I wanted to leave right away. You can tell who actually drives. Finally, at 6 PM I nagged him enough, so we left. Good question. I thought so. I had steak (a filet) and eggs as one of my breakfasts. My understanding is you just have to ask for more, but maybe that's just breakfast?

Technically, it's "all you care to eat." For breakfast last year, we ordered 2 things each and asked for extra bacon.

That's frustrating to spend so much money and not have a good experience. I've heard the dinner isn't great. You can actually request seconds of anything and everything, it's all you can eat. But they don't advertise that, which is sneaky. And there's no excuse for dirty.

I saw this earlier today and was thinking HOW FREAKING AWESOME!!!! I'm totally jealous of those people.

Sounds like lots of good options. I think we stopped in Lake City last time. We had planned to make it to Ocala, but had RV trouble. We're not leaving until later, so we'll see.....

I don't remember it ever closing last year when we were there the week before Easter, but maybe I just didn't know?
