  1. I'm in! Adam and Z would get along.... or have a cage match. One or the other.
  2. Sure, I'll plan it! I LOVE planning things. It's a sickness. Can I come too? Thanks again for making his birthday EXTRA special. Everyone at his school got to hear about the Ariel video today, and he was so mad I didn't bring my phone in to show them. I will in the morning, of course. The Minnie part makes it even better!
  3. Isn't it? Glad the link worked. Someday I'll be high tech enough to embed video like the others.
  4. Our next mission was for the boys to go fishing while the moms went on an Easter mission. I brought almost everything for Z’s basket, but I forgot the actual basket. Plus, last year they had some really cute Disney/Easter goodies. After experiencing the candy scramble last year, I knew I wanted very little candy. This year there wasn’t as good of a selection. It could have been because it was the day before Easter. Anyway, you could buy a basket, grass, and they would arrange everything and shrink wrap it for $8. That’s not too bad. They were even willing to let us bring the outside stuff we
  5. Test for the video..... http://s1158.photobucket.com/user/gadawgfans/media/Disney%20SB%202013/IMG_0982.mp4.html
  6. You do get credit because it wouldn't have happened without you talking to Dave in the first place. You inspired that hammock. Aren't you proud? And I hate to tell you, but heaven is red and black. Yay! And thanks! Fiends are the best. The Ariel video was better than any gift he got. His face was priceless. And then the part about her telling Goofy. As Lou would say, it was a magical morning. :rofl2: Wait a second, I thought you don't read trip reports?!?! I was able to save the video, and on my computer, it plays when I click the picture, but I guess not for you guys. Hopefully s
  7. There was something like that going on near POC last Tuesday. I didn't recognize the person though.
  8. The next morning was Z’s birthday. I woke up to some Disney/Fiend magic on my phone. For those of you who don’t know, my son has (a probably unhealthy) love for Ariel. He wants to marry her. With her tail. He shares this with people frequently. If I were Prince Eric, I’d be watching my back. Anyway, TCD was aware of his love, so he got me in touch with Devores. It turns out that Devores and Ariel work together quite a bit. Dave was willing to set up something special for Z if he could. This is what I had on my phone. (Let’s hope it works since I’ve never linked a video before) Yep, that’s
  9. It was a great first day for sure! I'm not sure what to say to that. LOL.
  10. Great report! Hate that it ended in sickness, but it looks like you guys had a lot of fun before that.
  11. Ack! I just realized I left out something from Friday. Between the pool and dinner we met BuckeyeFortMama, BuckeyeFortFan, and family. Sorry I left you guys out!
  12. The conference is at the Poly, but I'm not actually required to be there a ton, so it's kind of a non-factor for me. The bus point is a good one. What about your favorite.... the monorail to MK?
  13. It actually might.... It depends on cash flow. My mom would be coming, but with almost my whole family up there, it will be hard not to go. But if it does, I will likely be up there sometime in November or December.
  14. I LOVE cobbler. It's amazing cooked on the Big Green Egg.
  15. I guess I'm going to have to figure out this multi-quote thing. You are first! Congrats! Glad you like them! A lot of these are repeats from the live trip report, but there are new ones coming for sure. Thanks for joining! Z loves his Pop Pop. He actually lives with us, so they spend a lot of time together. Having him on this trip made it extra special for sure. Whoooo Hoooooooooooo! A SPECIAL birthday surprise, organized by none other than TCD and Devores. Glad to have you on board!
  16. It looks like I might be returning to Disney sooner rather than later for a conference. Sadly, the conference is in July. Hello heat! The conference is offering a huge discount at the Contemporary and Poly. I've stayed at the Contemporary before, most recently about 3 years ago. I like it, but I've never stayed at the Poly. If the trip happens, it will be my mom, DS4, and me in case that matters. I considered getting a partial site and renting a pop-up, but the hotel rate is so cheap, it really doesn't make sense. By the time I add a cart (and I know I'd want one), I'm at the same price as t
  17. The Trails End and Mickey's Backyard BBQ people were awesome to my gluten free friend last weekend. TE even made her grilled GAG.
  18. I'm in late, but in. The English teacher in me loves that your son is a reader. That looks like a lot of food and a lot of fiends!!!!!
  19. I hadn’t planned to start this report until tomorrow, but we’ve still got a couple of hours in the car, and I’ve run out of ways to entertain myself, so here we go! On the trip is my dad (AKA Pop Pop), my Husband, my son who turns 4 on day 2, and me. I was especially excited about this trip for a few reasons. First, my dad parents always took us to Disney as kids, and I lived near Disney with my mom as a kid, but my dad hadn’t been to Disney for 18 years. Also, we had lots to celebrate on this trip: Z turned 4, Easter, and Jason and I celebrated our 10th anniversary. Good times! The plan f
  20. Today was our last day, always bitter sweet. We had some pool time. This is Z actually swimming. He's soooooooooooo close to really getting it. Then, Jason and I had an Epcot date night. That's two date nights in two nights.... we're spoiled! We've already packed up a lot of our stuff. Tomorrow we wake up and head out.
  21. Yep that truck was there Thursday. To think, I experienced "limited time magic" and didn't even know it. How magical. LOL
