  1. It is a very awesome spot. We took way more pictures than what I posted. I was hoping our carriage ride would go that way for our anniversary, but it didn't. It was still cool though. I don't think I actually ate him. LOL I'd like to think so. :)
  2. Here's a review from easywdw http://www.easywdw.com/dining/sci-fi-dine-in-theatre-restaurant-review-at-disney-world/
  3. I've been, but it's been awhile, and I don't remember much about the food.
  4. Thanks for sharing! I've made my own laundry detergent with similar ingredients.
  5. I'm in very late since your trip report started when my trip started. I love your anniversary trip report!!!! You guys have so much fun together. I also loved the Lucy shot. BWV look beautiful! I can't wait for more of part 2!
  6. The candy was better last year, but I think it was just because of the section Z was in. They made the bears out of mostly tootsie rolls. Last year he got a lot more variety. He didn't care though. You can see from that bucket why the Easter bunny did not bring any candy, huh?
  7. After napping, we decided to go on an adventure to find TCD’s spot. I was going on memory, and Jason was wondering if I was crazy, but we found it. They are still lowering the water level in the canal. We headed back to the site and met Lorna and Rich a little later. A potential new Fiend borrowed some leveling boards from us. New Fiend, are you here? Then AuburnChris came by. We had to cut our visit kind of short because we had an ADR at Chef Mickey’s for Easter dinner. On the way to dinner They had an Easter egg like the ones at the Grand Floridian. If you want to
  8. If your 7 year old likes to get up and dance, Mickey's Backyard BBQ. I just posted a lot of pics in my trip report. Are they into dinosaurs? We just went to T-Rex at DTD. My son loved it, and the portions are big enough to share.
  9. I wonder if you can use their discount case to get one even cheaper. I'm guessing that's one that's excluded.
  10. I second Be Our Guest, but make sure you get online at 6:00 AM exactly at your 180 mark to make your ADR. It books fast. Who is in your party? That would influence my recommendations.
  11. Easter morning we were up early. Z got his basket, and we headed down to the Settlement for the Candy Scramble and character meet and greet. I knew from last year that this meant that Z was going to get an obscene amount of candy. Last year Thumper posed for pictures before the scramble. This year he just went around and danced with the kids. I liked the way they did it last year better, but oh well. Dancing This year the scramble was Brave themed. Z’s area was the bears. Candy. Candy. And more candy. I messed up and missed Mickey and Minnie coming out. This mean
  12. We really enjoyed meeting you! Next time, we'll have to plan a dinner or something!
  13. That wasn't my original intent, but..... Actually, I walked out with mine in my hand and the leftover cake in the other. If anyone had said anything, which they didn't, I would have told them that none of the adults in the party had eaten any since we had eaten the cake. We were saving them for later. :) They're up next.... later tonight or tomorrow. You did! It was great to meet you! Ribs, Mickey, and a pretty lady. Z was in heaven!
  14. We left off with food. I should mention that this was an awesome experience for my gluten free friend. They went over everything she could eat and offered her additional choices. At that point the buffet stayed open, but there was a break in entertainment, so Z decided that he needed to go see “his girl.” Now don’t tell Ariel this part, but it had not gone unnoticed by Z that the singer from last year that he liked was here again. Backyard BBQ 2012 photo He wanted to go see her. So we did. She doesn’t look all that excited in the pictures, but she was really sweet and great wi
  15. You should REALLY do it. The character interaction is awesome. The younger ladies would love it.
  16. I think you will make an awesome grandfather. And you will get to relive the joy of seeing Disney through the eyes of a small child again. It's good stuff.
  17. A small cooler, so you have beverages while you wait. :) Yeah, your girls are too old for it, and it's not something I would do with just adults. But someday in the very distant future..... you'll be a..... oh I won't say it. Then, you can go.
  18. For us, it doesn't make sense to do the dinner buffet because they family size chicken meal is way cheaper, and we can't finish it. It's less than $24 and will easily feed a family of 4. We really like their breakfast, but have never eaten lunch there. The pizza tastes like Digorno's (or however you spell it). It's not terrible, but not great.
  19. Let’s move on to the Backyard BBQ. It gets a bad/mixed wrap, but I highly recommend it if you have young kids. Z and his friend have been talking about it since last year, and that says something. It is outside, so I wouldn’t do it in July. The event starts at 6:30, but it’s important to arrive early for a few reasons. First, you get the better seats. Despite what they say about all seats being good, you want to sit around the main dance floor. Second, there is a character meet and greet with Goofy, Chip, and Dale if you arrive early. I suggest bringing a small cooler. And cowboy hats for
