I make ADRs because we travel during busy times, but I also cancel them when we don't feel like going or feel like we've just eaten too much for a big meal. With the dining plan, you have to worry about where to use that credit later. That's another downside for us, but people love it for some reason.

The more I read this TR, the more I want to go to California. I wonder if it's always so empty. I bet it's crazy when school is out, but we get out in late May. I wonder if it's busy the first week of June when a lot of schools are still in.

As my signature says and many of you know, my next trip to Disney will be at the Poly and not in our RV. I haven't been to Disney that way since July of 2009, so I'm a little concerned about not having a kitchen. I've known that in recent years the dining plan isn't a great deal, but I decided to look at it anyway. I ran some numbers, and even with some splurge meals, we'd pay hundreds more using the dining plan. I don't get why it's so popular. When I was a kid, it seemed like a great deal. We watched the same thing, but I think this show has aired before. This is how watching the show went in my house with DH who is NOT Disney crazy like me but does enjoy it (most of the time). We've never discussed Avatar Land together. TV shows Avatar Land Jason: Are you kidding me? They're really going to build that? Didn't they just buy Star Wars? Where's Star Wars Land? Are they idiots? Me: Apparently they are. I don't get it either. Jason: (Who isn't a huge Star Wars fan either) Do they realize they own the best movie trilogy ever created? They're passing that up for a one hit wonder?

I make a recipe similar to this and serve it frozen. I I've never used Splenda but I have use reduced fat Cool whip.

I made comments after my initial post, but I don't see that second post now. Good job getting the beet lollipop. I'm calling BS that they were sold out the day I went. I think they just didn't make any that day. Did you make the girls eat one too? It looks like you did. Looking forward to reading more!

We love doing the late breakfast buffets as a brunch. I've never eated at Tusker House though. I had a lunch ADR for our July trip. Now you have me wondering if I should have done late breakfast. Can't wait to see the controversy!

One of our favorite things to do on the egg is pizza. We have a thick pizza stone meant for grilling and cook them on high indirect heat for about 10 minutes. The smoky flavor of the wood charcoal gives the pizzas a unique flavor. I buy our dough at Publix. Here's a bacon and sausage. And one of my favs, a margherita- light sauce, tomatoes, garlic, fresh basil, and fresh mozzarella.

I'm a firm believer that you can't go wrong with bacon.
