  1. We're eating there for the reasons you describe Silver Mist. I might even split a sandwich with my mom, so we KNOW we'll have room for dessert. The sandwiches look shareable. Can someone with experience chime in?
  2. He loves Josh over at easywdw.com. He just can't help himself.
  3. I'm in! Sounds like an awesome adventure!
  4. I'm a wine person, but no way would I pay those prices.
  5. These sound yummy! I bought an infusing water bottle and have been lazy about making new things in the last month. I just need to make huge batches! Either way, great ideas!
  6. Finally! I hate lemon desserts (weird because I love lemons and lemonade) but the important thing for me is that I don't want to make this! Finally!
  7. I like that Sci Fi table better for families. I don't remember seeing those, but it's been awhile since I've been there.
  8. I would like to point out that this is an excellent example of fiends helping fiends. See, I really wanted category 1 seatings, but was going to settle for category 2. But Jason, being a good fiend, jumped in and decided to go to the HDDR too. Brilliant and helpful! Now we have good company AND better seats. Bring on the sangria and beer!
  9. It's only a $6 difference. I figure that's worth it, right? Jason, do you want to book or me? I can paypal you $ or vice versa. I guess we should PM all this. Oops!
  10. Good to know. Want to do a table for 5? If so, talk to her ASAP and let me know. I'd like to surprise my mom for Mother's Day if I do it.
  11. We're the same way. We always debate and then don't do it. Z loves the Backyard BBQ, but we just did that. It makes it easier to choose HDDR this time. I haven't been to Disney with my mom in a long time, and it's something we used to do, so I know she'd love it. PS- We're looking at July 18th.
  12. I think that would work. My dad and Jason are still raving about it, and it was so easy. I'd done it before, but it's been awhile. I guess I will be making it more often because it was a huge hit and the easiest to make dinner of the month. I threw it together on a whim the morning of Jason's surgery.
  13. You are missing out. Crunchy, olive oil, salted skin is the best part of the potato!!!!
  14. I just did a super easy and good one, but I served it over pasta. Is there something you could sub for you? You just take about 3 lbs of boneless skinless chicken, 2 jars of pasta sauce, and minced garlic. Cook it on low all day and shred the chicken. I put it on pasta and sprinkle with cheese, but Jason did eat a plate of just the chicken.
  15. I'm considering splurging for the HDDR in July as a surprise for my mom. We haven't been in a loooooooong time (like I was a kid). The day we can go only level 2 & 3 seating are available. That kind of worries me because Z is 4, and I'm not sure how much he'll get into it anyway, especially far away. Anyone have experience with this?
  16. http://finance.yahoo.com/news/disney-ceo-bob-iger-hints-142800629.html?fb_action_ids=10151945102998782&fb_action_types=og.recommends&fb_ref=facebook_cb
  17. When I do them in the oven, I rub them with some olive oil and sprinkle them with coarse salt to crisp them up. I wonder if that would work in a crockpot?
