We ate at Chef Mickey's for Easter and had a good time. I know some hate it though. Did you try Artist Point? With the holiday prices, 2 of you could eat cheaper there than Chef Mickey's.

I'm not going to have a car on our trip to the Poly, so I'm doing some things differently. I'm going to need some wine and snack food groceries for our trip, so I asked my relatives that are DVC members and make 2-3 trips a year what they do. They recommended www.wegoshop.com. It's not very close to Augusta, but we love Shady Grove on Lake Lanier. It's not full hook-up though. We also like River Vista in Dillard, GA. The sites aren't private, but they have a lot of amenities and are close to Highlands, NC and the Dillard House (a yummy all-you-can-eat country restaurant).

I was looking for information about the valet laundry service and came across this company, She Loves to Do Laundry at www.shelovestodolaundry.com. Anyone have any experience with them? I don't think we'll make their 10 lbs. minimum for our trip, but it's an interesting alternative for those who HATE doing laundry as much as I do, especially on vacation.
