We woke up early to make AK rope drop. We followed Lou’s advice and stayed off the buses because our friends had a car. That's my only one. Sorry. It was REALLY bad, and thundering/lightning like crazy. I highly recommend the Lapu Lapu. It makes you Happy Happy! Yes, we were only a group of 6 for the beginning of the trip, but we had a BLAST together. There was no going in that rain. Apparently that was the evening a small tornado hit the MK. Alright, time for an update. We got situated in our room, and I was starving. Luckily, mom brought me a famous South Jersey sub. I had intended to post a picture of it, but I can’t find it. These subs are so good that my southern husband begs me to have them overnighted on occasion. It’s the bread and the fact that they don’t skimp on the meat. After quickly stuffing my face, it was time to head to the MK!!!!! The goal for the evening was to get Z’s hair cut, meet up with our friends, visit the Pirate’s League so he could see what would happen Wednesday, and take in the ambiance. Ahhhh….

Shortly after returning from our April trip, I started entertaining the idea of coming back to Disney for a conference that my university has every year. Congrats on the new job! I agree about the chairs at the Poly pool, even though I am a sand person. The ones at the quiet pool are on concrete though. I don't know why people hate that parade either. Kids love it.

I'm kind of disappointed that Lou doesn't make fun of me every time I mention Josh anymore. It kind of takes the fun out of it. Dave, the big reason for doing Characterpalooza was that Hook and Smee are often there, and Z REALLY wants to meet them. But, the meat won. LOL

He and my BF Josh both talk about it frequently, so I'm thinking it does. We were going to do it this trip, but went to Ohana instead.
