  1. This should help you.... http://www.fortfiends.net/_/accomodations/loop-information/site-classifications-r61
  2. I think she's talking about preferred. The premium sites are the biggest, but they are all concrete, no sand pad.
  3. Premium is all concrete, mostly near the pool, has a bigger table, and more expensive. Full hook-up has a sand pad behind, is farthest from the Settlement (where you catch the boat to the MK), and cheapest. Preferred is basically like full hook-up but near the Settlement, so the price in between full hook-up and premium.
  4. We really enjoyed our meal there. My friend's mom ordered the scallops and RAVED about them. Mom and I ordered the Pan-Asian Noodles and decided we liked them with chicken better than shrimp. It was a great dinner! Highly recommend.
  5. Dave is trying hard to win a shirt.
  6. Try this.... http://touringplans.com/walt-disney-world/ticket-calculator
  7. I like the crowd calendar at easywdw.com I always try to arrive about 40 minutes before the park opens to beat the crowds. Based on that and your Tuesday ADR, I'd probably do: Sunday- Fort time Monday- Epcot Tuesday- MK Wednesday- Fort time Thursday- AK (and you probably will have time to hop to MK or somewhere else) Friday- HS Saturday- Leave I know some people don't like being all planned out though.
  8. Yes, take Adam to the HDDR. I think Z's laughing pic says it all. I never thought a young kid would like it, but he couldn't stop laughing. Save date night for Artist Point (on my must do for our next trip) or Narcoossee's! You really must force your husband to go. I never saw the last cast, and I didn't remember anything about seeing it as a kid, but I thought the cast was great. It is expensive though, especially for large families like yours. I bet you wouldn't be the only one enjoying it. Everyone I saw was having a blast. It's next to Chef Mickey's. We need to stop t
  9. Here it is! http://www.fortfiends.net/forum/topic/8320-the-other-fort-another-md-camping-adventure/?hl=desoto
  10. Someone did a trip report on it. I think it was called The Other Fort or something like that.
  11. Ha haha! I say Lou wins the next shirt!!!!
  12. ADR is an advance dining reservation. AKA Disney lingo for a dining reservation. See if you can bump that breakfast time later and make it a brunch. It's a long shot at this point so don't freak if you can't. You'll stil have a blast! I'll give your more info tomorrow.
  13. More HDDR pics! I might have told the powers that be that Jason and Sil were celebrating their 5th anniversary. And mom and I might have been loud enough to make sure they came over. This part cracked me up. I need to get my Jason to play that part next time. And there will be a next time. Overall, I really recommend the HDDR. I’ve avoided it because of cost, but he had a blast. When you consider all the food, the entertainment, adult drinks, and that it includes tips, it’s not THAT bad. After the show, Jason and Sil were nice enough to tour us (and really it was fo
  14. It’s time to go home to the Fort! I had been looking forward to this evening the whole trip for several reasons. First, I got to return to the Fort with my mom. She was the one who brought me there as a kid, and she hadn’t been back since. I was also going to get to hang out with fellow Fiends, Katman (AKA for me the other Jason) and Sil. AND, we were all going to the Hoop Dee Doo Review!!!!!! Mom and I hadn’t been in 25 years, and Jason, Sil, and of course had never been. So much fun! My plan was to get there early and let Z play on the playground at the Settlement because there was no way
  15. Yeah, I got a deal. But the place is nice. I plan to return after I get my doctorate because I can attend the conference for free then, and it would make a short trip easy vs. driving the MH.
  16. Don't be sorry for asking questions. That's a major reason this place is here. You only get in the park early for an ADR if your ADR is before the time the park opens. Is this your only MK day? If so, I would strongly advise not spending your morning time eating and at the BBB. (sorry, the hyper planning in me has to suggest that) You get more done in the first 2 hours rides-wise than the rest of the day in most cases. Head to Fantasyland and ride those rides!!!!! If you really want to get ready, post your dates and number of park days, and I'll give you more info than you'd ever want.
  17. Shameless plug.... Public service announcement.... Jason will be making an appearance in another trip report tonight! http://www.fortfiends.net/forum/topic/10596-aloha-gadawgfan-turns-a-convention-into-a-week-long-stay-at-the-poly/
  18. BTW.... I can't believe I posted a Dole Whip shot and didn't get a comment from Mo.
  19. Yeah, I'm not big on microwaved eggs. And I was half asleep. It probably would have been better if I would have zapped it for a few seconds. But you shouldn't have to! Put it on your MUST list. Trust me.
