  1. Yes it does. Especially when you've been looking forward to it for a long time. Thanks for chatching up! Z really had a blast. I don't get the iPad thing either. I own one, but I'd never carry it around a theme park. I'm hoping so! Our soup and dessert was great, but soup shouldn't be the highlight of a meal. Actually, you guys are right. Precooking the food and keeping it warm is OK as long as it doesn't sit around too long and is served hot. I'm wondering if something changed when they opened the 3rd dining room. BUT, the 3rd dining room was also partially open in April, an
  2. Great pictures and report! That boot is a lot bigger than it looks without someone holding it. Can't wait to hear a baby update!
  3. We returned to the MK for our dinner at Be Our Guest. We had eaten there on our trip in April and LOVED it, so I was excited when Disney opened up more availability and we were able to get an ADR. I forgot that I had pulled Space FP when we were leaving. I really wanted to get Z that third ride on BTMRR, but the FP time wasn’t out far enough. I pulled Space instead, so I rode on the way to dinner. Z was mad that he’s not tall enough to ride. I got a child swap pass, so that left me 2 FPs that were expiring soon. So I played FP Fairy. I think the wait was about 90 minutes or so. There was a
  4. He's a great eater. I'm lucky that way. That hot dog does sound pretty good! Very true. And she was REALLY sweet. Amen. They are testing FP+ at BOG. My friend got an invite, but we didn't.
  5. I'm not sure we can afford the best. Ha ha It might mean a 4 night Disney vs a 5-7 night RC. I'm just wondering what the differences are (besides characters).
  6. We're looking Spring Break, end of March/beginning of April.
  7. What about Captain Hook? Our Costco has a huge DCL sign with him on it, and Z always begs to go when he sees it.
  8. Are the characters at meals? Around the boat? I've never really been clear on that.
  9. Talk to me about the differences between Royal Caribbean and DCL. I'm not even sure we can afford DCL, but I think I've narrowed it down to those two. Jason's only demand is that we have a balcony. We've only been on one cruise in the past.
  10. The difference is they're going to open 15 minutes early, but they aren't going to hold you at the tree anymore (like they usually do). So, you can just go wherever you want, like at Epcot that also opens early every day. But if you are a newbie that never reads stuff, you'd never know. It's just like most people don't know that DHS opens 20-40 minutes earlier than advertised most days.
  11. It's official. I hate Dave now. I'm trying to figure out a way to talk Jason into a cruise. I even have one picked out for Spring Break. This report could get me in big trouble.
  12. Yeah, I don't think I'll eat there again. I was a matter of convenience. We had been shopping on Main Street and had BTMRR fastpasses. We wanted to eat in that general area and had eaten at Pecos Bill's a couple days earler. We should have just gone back there and ordered something different. Or ridden BTMRR and then eaten at the Contemporary, so I could get another one of those crack sandwiches. Yes, that's what we should have done!!!!
  13. Is it rude to ask how much the rooms cost? Looks amazing!!!!
  14. I just like giving you a hard time. :) It was hot. LOL! Seriously though, we always take an afternoon break from about 1-5. That's when it's the hottest and most crowded. I'd rather nap. Lunch is different from dinner because it's counter service, but I've heard it's awesome. Our experience this time wasn't good, but check out my trip report from April. We LOVED our dinner that night.
  15. Those are the exact guidelines I've heard and what we do. The side impact rating is in case the car is hit from the side. The seats have gotten better in the case of a side collision, but they aren't as good.
  16. Sorry I got so behind! I'm loving the pictures. This would definitely be a trip Jason and I would love. Enjoyed the sign pics too! I guess we'd have to fly because that'd be quite a drive. But it reminds me that although we often talk about exploring the West, there's a lot of the East we still haven't seen.
  17. It’s time for our last full day! We took the monorail over to the MK for rope drop. Maybe Lou or someone can chime in here…. I never saw a place to catch a bus to Epcot or MK from the Poly. Is there a bus route? The plan for the day was more laid back than our previous MK rope drop. Z wanted to see his fiancé Rapunzel, and he also wanted to ride BTMRR 3 times. Mom and I wanted to ride Splash. We figured we’d fill in the rest. Time for the opening show. Ipad. We decided to take care of Rapunzel at opening, so we could FP and then ride BTMRR. We figured that would be our best
  18. That's all he has to say? Maybe he's saving it for his report! It's OK you're behind. Thanks for reading! Z had a blast being a pirate and at the HDDR. It was such a good trip! It is fancy. I'm still not sure it's worth 3 times the price of the normal one though. Yes, you could see the beach from parts of it. And I guess it would also be good if you have a larger group because it has more seating.
  19. What an awesome kids club! You were smart to take pics of all that to help your clients. Maybe I can use this TR to convince my Jason we need to go on a Disney cruise!
