  1. If (actually when but it will be awhile) I were going to buy a cart, it would be from one of our sponsors..... The Golf Cart Shop Sun City Website: www.alumacarsuncity.com Phone: 813-634-CART Golf Cart Sales, Service and Rentals They're good people and would deliver it to the Fort for you. And they'll even customize your seats for you!
  2. When we drove around with Katman in July, I couldn't believe all the water. Of course, we're flooded in GA too.
  3. Apparently their grand reopening was supposed to be this weekend.
  4. I don't take underwater pictures that often, but I take advantage of that fact that it's waterproof all the time. It's fun when you're tied up and hanging out in the water to take pictures of others doing the same.
  5. I have a strap for mine that I ordered when I bought the new version. I chose this one.... http://www.amazon.com/Olympus-Foam-Float-Strap-202212/dp/B0014E02AO/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1379086963&sr=8-2&keywords=camera+float
  6. It's super easy to use. Zachary is 4, and he uses my old one now. I originally got it because we have a boat and didn't want to worry about people spilling stuff on it or it getting wet because it's fun to take pictures of everyone splashing around. It takes good underwater pics too though. Everyone loves doing that. There are some underwater pictures of Z in my last trip report. Like Jason was saying, you can just hook the camera to the computer and move files onto the computer. There is a cord to connect it, or my laptop has a slot for the memory card. It has a rechargable battery. I agree
  7. What is your price range? I have the Canon underwater camera. It's shock proof to several feet and it doesn't matter if it gets wet. I liked my old one so much I bought the new version recently. Zachary has dropped my old one about a thousand times and it's still ticking.
  8. I agree. While I don't like some of them, they do give the feeling of the characters.
  9. http://jamesteamclick.likes.com/which-disney-engagement-ring-are-you?pid=121277&utm_source=mylikes&utm_medium=cpc&utm_campaign=ml&utm_term=27397876 I'll take Wendy's.
  10. And even if you have to go to overflow.... who cares! You'll still be at the Fort! Plenty to enjoy while you wait on a site.
  11. I wish they offered the monthly payments to GA residents!
  12. Thanks! The touring plan blog said the Magic Bands were active, but I didn't look for a source. Keep us posted!
  13. I've read a couple places about the new photopass site www.mydisneyphotopass.com. Apparently you can now link your pictures to your Magic Band. What else is different?
  14. This is awesome news!!! I think they are so cool and love watching the videos of them. I will definitely be buying some for my next trip.
  15. Character dining.... Mickey's Backyard BBQ is right at the Fort. It's expensive (they all are), but unlike most character meals, you get to dance with the characters, there's a whole show besides the characters, it includes adult beverages for the adults, and your tip is already included in the price. Check my April trip report for pictures, and if you can search, I did a whole post just about it around April 2012. It's a BLAST. Food is BBQ, ribs, chicken, etc. Cheapest meal at the Fort is the Getty-Up-and Go chicken dinner at the Trails End takout. It's 10 pieces of chicken with sides and b
  16. Since Z loves the campfire and the pool, we like to be close to that area.
