That is true. I was meaning that the BBQ doesn't have the typical storage most restaurants have for cakes. My understanding is that hall good comes from the HDDR/Trails End kitchen, so getting a podium cake might be harder.

I thought I answered this earlier, sorry. Yes, the cakes are pricey. But they delivered it and lit it when they sing Happy Birthday to everyone and made a little bit of a bigger deal because we had one. My son is also kind of in love with the singer at the Backyard BBQ... LOL, so he was excited she sang his name. We did the Mickey head cake, but the bakery at the Contemporary will make pretty much anything you want and deliver it. We "camp" for every UGA home game. We also did 9 nights at the Fort, 3 at the lake, and 16 at Topsail. That's a lot of nights, but we usually do a couple weekend trips to new places. I've missed those.

What about having him wait for you in front of the statue at the castle? You could text him when you're walking down Main Street to let him know, and maybe you could even get the photopass photographer in on it to capture the whole reunion with the castle in the background.

Awwww this just brought tears to my eyes. I hope he gets to come home for Christmas. I've seen people reunite at Disney online, so there has to be a way to do it. Have you called the flag people? Also, I've seen the ads on this site for that rental company, and I think they include a golf cart. If so, that's a big bonus. Are you more indoor people or outdoor people? I think you'll spend more time hanging out outside with an RV.
