  1. As soon as you mentioned the pirate girls, I thought of Big Wendy. LOL!
  2. I've been wondering the same. Seems unlikely if they're at the Fort now, but maybe! So glad that you had 2 rounds of good news!!!!
  3. I'm in late, but in! YUM, dessert at the Melting Pot is AMAZING.
  4. I've thought this too. Like the fridge swaps before all the Disney rooms had them.
  5. The pictures look better than it sounded on paper. Sadly, that food looks much more appealing to be than Biergarten, where I'm eating in January. And we'll be paying more than $35. I must really love my husband! (And the atmosphere of Biergarten looks way cooler.)
  6. A soft spot in your heart for children? You are losing your edge.
  7. I've been reading around Cruise Critic to prepare for our Spring Break cruise, and people are not happy about this. It seems like the TX ports have a harder time attracting passengers, and I don't see this helping.
  8. We just do regular Photopass because our son hasn't been big enough to ride all of the rides where they take the pictures. I think Photopass is totally worth it if you have kids who like characters and are going on a longer trip. I love having whole family photos in front of the castle and other landmarks. I also always let them know that we have it and ask that they please take a lot of pictures. The end of my April and July trip reports in my signature show the results. Here's what you need to figure out.... 1) How long are you staying and how many days will you be in the park? 2) Are yo
  9. Ft. Wilderness is my favorite campground and the nicest one I've ever been to. I think everyone on this site loves Ft. Wilderness, but they don't agree with some choices that management makes. Well, and Dave hates everything.
  10. Should we totally hijack this thread until TCD is back? What could we discuss?
  11. The one we got came apart in a couple of pieces for loading. We just parked it outside and covered it. Those ones from the outside companies are much nicer and narrower than Disney's. AKA easier to move around. If he becomes too tired to drive though, I'm not sure what you'd be able to do.
  12. I would really suggest getting him a scooter. We almost did the wheelchair when DH was awaiting knee surgery. People told me that the parks have more hills than you think, so we went with the scooter. I paid more attention to the number of hills that trip, and they were right. It would be exhausting for the person pushing him. We used Apple, and I thought the cost was pretty reasonable.
  13. It is very un-Troll-like to leave us hanging.
  14. Now that's a drive! Glad you are enjoying your trip and the weather. Sadly, Atlanta traffic is always hectic. That's why I rarely go near the city.
  15. You make a good point. Those are really only a good idea if you aren't going to drive anywhere.
  16. When we had a trailer, we added it to our Progressive policy. Once we bought our Class C, we changed from Progressive to one specific to RVs because it was a lot cheaper for better coverage.
  17. Glad you made it! I'd be having a conversation with that dealership....
