This doesn't bother me at all. Having it at BOG has done nothing negative to the ambiance of the park.

I mis-typed. The Mini Max is more than the Mini. The reason both exist is that the Mini Max is fairly new. It came out a few years ago. We would have never bought a Mini because you can't do much on it. The Mini Max is large enough to smoke hams, Boston Butts, do pizza, etc. It's worth it.

Yeah, I was thinking that part looked off. We love our Mini Max! Hey now, those are fighting words! Don't talk bad about my Egg.

TCD, I've been trying to figure out from the pic, but it's hard. One is a 10 in diameter and the max is a 13 inch diameter. The stand makes me think it's a regular mini, but it looks wider than one. $500 is more than a mini cost retail, but a little under what the Mini Max costs- unless you find a deal.

I didn't realize I had gotten so behind. Let's see if I can remember my comments. The 600 loop seems kind of naked to me... Not enough tall trees. If that BGE was a Mini Max, you missed a heck of a deal. I'm not a fan of the regular mini because you can't do much other than basic meats on it. The Mini Max is the diameter of a small but shorter. That's what we bring in our RV most of the time. I smoked a ham over 8 lbs on it for the last Christmas GG. Those fries look good. I'm a fan of season salt. I can't wait for warmer temps!

Is anyone seeing it today? We have tickets for Sunday. Interested to hear what people think about it... NO SPOILERS though!

I'm guessing OP means the Contemporary. I love the boat ride to and from the MK.... It's generally peaceful and scenery brings back so many memories. It's on my list of favorite things about the Fort.

Happy Hour at the site and a GAG. I like it. I think the sleighs are pretty. I love this time of year at the Fort! You got a couple really good fireworks shots. I've kind of wondered what the view from the pontoons would be. Seems yours is better up higher.

Question... what happens if people who already own guns move there? Seems like it could be a serious issue.
