I promise they'd like it. We waited because I didn't think Z would. Then he couldn't stop laughing in July. EVERYONE there has a smile on their face. Awwww.... I was impressed though. There were no adults helping them do that. Future engineers! Thank you soooo much! And yes, he'll be tortured with those all his life.

The use it for check-in for the Backyard BBQ. -
Alright, so we’re heading out of the MK… The line for IASW was looooooooooooooong. So was the line for the FP+ kiosk This kid was walking with his dad and wearing a shirt with the word “whores” on it in a family theme park. Nice. We stopped to get some pictures of Z in his costume in front of the castle. Too bad the crane was back. You’ll see them in my Photopass update. Speaking of Photopass, a very famous Fiend had seen the Flynn Rider pictures on facebook and told me that he was in the MK, so we decided to stop by and see him on the way out. We met here. Looks sad now,

The noise was ridiculous. Never again. The thing was, he wasn't even taking picture while they were talking on the rug. What really pissed me off is when he asked me if I wanted to take his camera and do it myself. That's a pretty crappy thing to say. I met someone pretty cool..... :) Ha ha! It's on his satchel, but I see what it looks like. Yeah, I'm sorry everyone had to see that. But have you ever seen a wedgie that bad??? Amen. Ha ha ha! And thanks! It was AMAZING! And once he had the costume on, he was a celebrity. When we occasionally watch those c

Jason and I often joke with him about having to choose between Ariel and Rapunzel. He says he can marry both. :rofl2: And no wonder Rapunzel asked about the frying pan! She was jealous. He better watch his back. Awwww.... thanks! He did. He got both of his loves in less than 24 hours. Hopefully it doesn't go to his head. :)

Best Trip Ever, but Rain, Rain, Go Away!!

Glad you are finishing! I really want to make it down for Food and Wine one of these days. And BTW, it just rained on our whole trip. -
Dinning plans
GaDawgFan.....Kelly replied to jlf's topic in General Camping Discussion and Questions
Dinner shows are usually the worst use of the dining plan because you have to use 2 credits. There's a spreadsheet floating around where you can enter where you're going to eat and some other info, and it runs the numbers for you. If you eat at only the most expensive restaurants, usually order the most expensive thing on the menu, and always order dessert, it can be worth it. In most cases, it's not. -
It’s Saturday, our last real day. That’s always sad. The plan for the day was to go to the MK for a bit and hit the HDDR for dinner. Z calls it the Hoop Dee Doo For You. I think that’s funny. Here are some Scouts I wanted to shake for waking me up before the sun. But I didn’t. It was tempting though. After getting ready, we headed to the boat. Z was still rocking his Ariel kiss (sort of). People fishing We had FP+ for BTMRR (Z’s favorite ride), Rapunzel, and Peter Pan. We headed to BTMRR first. It was fairly crowded. Splash is being refurbished. Looks like a b

Thanks for reading along! I totally agree. The next update will be even more AMAZING! It will be a big day, and I know I'll let him. But Space is pretty scary. I always forget that until I ride. I agree about the Scouts. I really want Z to be one, but we'll never do a Fort camping trip with them. The total disregard for others is concerning. Aren't they supposed to be teaching them something?

Late night snow day update..... So we're back at the dessert party, and here's where’s where the weather caused us issues again. It was too foggy and cloudy to see most of the fireworks. BUMMER. But we still had a good time. UGH If this had been my first time seeing Wishes, I would have probably been more upset about the fireworks. But it was was it was. Luckily, I knew we’d be watching these same fireworks the next night from the Fort beach. I was hoping the weather would be better Tinker Bill did fly and land on our building, and guess what…. I think it was Tinker BELL i

I guess if it was a late one, you could do a super late lunch, but 7 was PERFECT. Well, perfect for being a terrible parent and feeding your kid unlimited sugar for dinner and making sure you can eat tons too. Ha ha! Our table was kind of crappy, but we could reach the back of the buffet by only standing up. No plate or effort needed=Trouble. Now that is a GOOD bit of info! And since you can take advantage of it, enjoy! And it was good to see y'all again. Please stay at Topsail, so I can be right about that AND BOG lunch. :) I would recommend it actually, even with our issue wi

He was actually better behaved. Much better behaved then the kids we encounter later that night. And you know what? I had to delete the Boy Scout part because I got ahead of myself. I hadn't finished the part in the MK here. I should have added that to the file on my computer. Oops. I actually had more ride photos, but had to delete them to include all the food pics. You're welcome. We'll revisit that area in the next post, but I think you'll like that part. The dessert for dinner works best when it's an early Wishes, I think. I'm not sure I could wait to eat until 9PM to eat. Then I

After the turkeys finally got out of my way and Z was finished with his nap, we headed back to the MK. I think this was the point in the trip that Z decided he was too cool for a magic band, so I wore 2. By the way, I have really small wrists (too bad it’s not a small waist), so I was glad that they have the part you can pull off. Mine would have been really uncomfortable otherwise. When Z had been cranky, I changed our Rapunzel FP+ to a JoTLM FP+ for just before the dessert party. We jumped on the train and road it back to Fantasyland. Can you believe this was Z’s first ride on

Yes, there are at least 3 advantages of dinner.... bread, beer, and the Beast. I do think dinner is worth doing once. And I'm not saying I wouldn't do it again, but I enjoyed our lunch there more than our last dinner. You're right, I passed up on a free meal. What was I thinking? And I promise, Z gets cranky. Ha ha! We were one step away from laying on the ground and screaming. He was tired. Welcome back! For the FP, start checking about 6 weeks in advance. I think it usually opens around 30 days, but they seem to release a whole month at a time. Yes, Jason's sandwich was

Do it! So worth it. Our early 2013 dinner was outstanding. July was disappointing. I've heard some blame them opening the 3rd dining room dinner, but it was open our first time too, so it can be done right. And that gives me hope! He's 4, therefore not always charming. But unlike some, I don't drag him around the park when he's DONE. I promise. It's true. I saw more turkeys that day than all the days of my life combined. Crazy! And a cool feature of the Fort. We were, despite Mother Nature raining on our parade. Literally. Have you done dinner? Do you
