OK, so I looked back, get there an hour before the show starts. We always sit and take turns getting food. If your mom has a hard time turning her neck, I'd actually sit on one of the sides because of the way the tables are turned. If she's at one of the side tables and faces the stage that will be less turning than sitting in the middle because your neck is at a right angle the whole time there. We've arrived at 45 minutes and 1 hour early and both times had our choice of seats along the dance floor. Enjoy! It's a lot of fun.

There are some good ideas there!

Yay for catching up! Thanks for sticking with me. The balcony was really nice, especially because it gave us a place to hang out when Z went to bed. By the end of the cruise, I was so full that I was just ordering fruit and pastries, but Z insisted on "meat candy" and eggs every day. The water is so pretty it looks fake! For the price the new Poly DVC villas should pump some of that water in, don't you think? Thanks for commenting! Jason was also freaked out by the Steve Irwin incident. These rays are kind of like dogs though. They aren't freaked out by people like

The Helmsey's travel to Defeated Creek

All Z needs to be happy in life is a playground. Glad the rain stopped and you got to play. We lost an awning once. Expensive mistake! -
I have a goal…. I’m not big time like TCD and the Troll, but I want to beat the stats of my other trip reports and get over 250 comments. So come on and speak up; I’ve seen a lot more of you reading than are commenting. We’ve only got 3 days left! To those of you who have been reading, commenting, and asking questions, thank you! Thursday, April 3rd Thursday started like many of the days before, with a call from room service that breakfast was on the way. We arrived in Grand Cayman at 8:00 AM. We had an excursion through RCCL planned that day. My mom had gotten Z a dolphin encounter and st

We like the outer loop but the inner loop gives your kids a place to ride bikes, etc with very few cars.

The Helmsey's travel to Defeated Creek

I'm in!!!! I can't believe you actually booked a trip on the advice of Dave. That's scary. Next you'll be drinking weird Russian beer. -
And better yet, it's in my mama's dollars! :rofl3: Honestly, I'm so excited. I've never had someone do something like buy me a vacation EVER before. It's so sweet of my mom, and I know she enjoys being in the position to do something like that for my brother and me.

We didn't get to see much because it was a short ride, but I will remember that little slice of Jamaican paradise we got to experience for the rest of my life. Sadly, they're closing before we get to go back. I'm wondering if Falmouth is growing, so they develop it into something more commercialized. Yep, 4 shrimp. Obviously I could have ordered seconds, but I *might* have snacked a bit in the Windjammer when Z was eating dinner. Plus, I knew I was ordering 2 desserts. You're right... it doesn't compare at all. The RCCL night is really just for the kids under 10. He enjoyed it though,

Just curious.... when's the last time you sailed RCCL? I've heard they've stepped up their game. I've only been on Royal and Carnival (the latter a long time ago), so I can really compare though. I really wish I could take you up on this. If I were allowed to take off work, I'd make it happen.

We just booked a 7 day on the Freedom for Thanksgiving 2005... yep, far in advance. For 2 in an ocean-view, it was about $820 a person, and I think the balcony we have is $1005. But that's also a holiday, so it can be done.

Great report and pictures. What an exciting time! I love that you did the fireworks afterward. I keep telling my husband that we need to have another wedding and do it at Disney, but he won't agree. -
Wednesday, April 2nd continued Once we got back to the ship, we took showers and formulated a plan. It was pirate night in Adventure Ocean. Since they parade the pirates down the Promenade, you have to be there by a certain time, or you can’t participate. We didn’t have a ton of time, so we decided that we’d feed Z at the Windjammer, and then Jason and I would eat dinner in the main dining room and go down for the parade. He had pizza, pasta, and about 4 desserts. Selfie of parents about to have a dinner date We dropped Z off and headed to the dining room where we got a table for

It was a perfect day for sure! I thought cruise ships went there, but I wasn't positive. RCCL has put a lot of money into the port area. There aren't a ton of beaches in Falmouth, but we found a great one! Yes, Z got another lady. This one was fairly close to his age though. And then his teenage girlfriend randomly showed up. I kind of wonder if he told her where we were going. It was all YUMMY! Me too! Yes, Josh is making fun of the other sites when he says that. It's usually when they've predicted huge crowds, and there aren't any. Or he's poking fun of people who go i
