  1. I have fond memories of Typhoon Lagoon as a kid. I need to get Z there soon. The upgrade is something I've debated as well.
  2. Roberta, I'm so sorry you feel that way! There are all kinds of people and camping set ups at the Fort. First, I would fax in a site request, or if you have a travel agent fax one on your behalf. Explain what you need in a site and why. They will do their best to accommodate you. Heck, email it to me, and I'll make sure it gets to the right place. As far as people looking down on pop ups, that's not the case at all. You'll see everything from tents to big RVs. We own an RV and still rent a pop up sometimes for short trips. We love the Fort and don't really care what we camp in. The owner
  3. I think that's the toilet we looked at. I wonder if a shop would even cut a scrap for us. Something worth looking into. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  4. We keep debating bringing our lab. He's so big and gets into anything food related. I can't imagine a puppy. But post pics. I bet he's cute! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  5. Do you have any New Years resolutions related to camping? If so, share them! We'd like to explore more campgrounds close to home. We have some favorites, but we want to try some new ones. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  6. I probably should have specified that. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  7. I had a feeling you'd chime in about the toilet. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  8. The lines were so long today! We were glad to cruise by them. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  9. We had a plumbing leak that has resulted in rotting under our shower. Jason was in the shower while we were at the Fort, and the back of the shower pan sunk in the back. Fun times. We're going to have to pull the shower out to fix it. While we're doing that, I figure we'll refresh the whole bathroom. I'd love to find something besides the plain shower walls, but not sure what's possible. We need a new toilet. We really hate ours. I'm also considering a new counter, sink, and faucet. Has anyone done that? What's a good (but not heavy) counter option? Lastly, we need
  10. It was great. We actually saw the 7:30 fireworks from Ohana at dinner. Then the 11:50 from the beach. Considered riding over, but decided to stay out of the madness. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  11. Yes, it's an external charger. The stations are where you can exchange a used one for a fully charged one. You can also charge them on your own. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  12. I think brunch on Christmas Eve was $24. They had a carving station as well as some lunch items in addition to usual breakfast stuff. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  13. I bought one this trip because I can't remember to charge the other one I own. It's worked out great. Jason and I have been sharing the same one, and we just trade it when we need to. I've even remembered to charge it on my own a few nights.
  14. I think the current plan is just for the holidays. The great perk though and doesn't cost them a thing, so I would like to see them expand it. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  15. Yeah well, we're waiting to check in at CRT, and with crowds like today, I might be ordering a bottle. FFTDCITC bragging rights? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  16. Throw some cans or bottled in your bag, and ask for a cup of ice at your meal. We do that a good bit. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  17. Take it for what it's worth, but a CM told us the beer offerings will expand once they are able to install kegs.
  18. Stole this idea from the Internet. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
