  1. You said you're going January 2015 right? Check out the thread I posted about the new sale. You can probably save some cash by getting a price adjustment.
  2. Now might be the time to book! Or if you already booked, call your TA or Royal and get a price adjustment. If you don't have a TA, expect hold times to be long though because I've heard they usually are when a sale starts. They're running a sale for 50% of the second passenger for 2015 and 2016 cruises. Jason called them this morning and saved us almost $600 total on our 2 cabins. That's off a rate I already thought was good.
  3. What kills it is that it's not text based and you have to start from the first screen every time.
  4. Santa's back! And I agree, TV is nice on rainy days. We don't watch it much otherwise.
  5. Isn't the Snugly Duckling the bar they go to and sing at when she first leaves the tower? The skeletons are weird though. I don't have any ideas for those. I need to see that parade. It looks so cool!
  6. How early do you have to arrive for FP+? It seems like something that could be beneficial Easter week.
  7. Good report because it was a good trip! I'm glad you're still reading along.... Maybe you got some ideas..... That's the ship they cut in half and added to. I just googled it, and they have a bungee trampoline. We need pictures of you doing it!!!!!
  8. Yes, the valets kind of "help" each other out in those lines. It was nice. Regarding room service, I'm still in denial. But you know who is also heartbroken about it? Z! He got soooooooo spoiled!
  9. A lot of the ships have the same features because they've been refurbed; you may be surprised! We prepaid standard tips that covered MDR, steward, and something else. We did tip extra at the specialty restaurant. I've heard $10 per person is considered a good tip; some do none or $5 per person. We felt the service level was well worth $10 a person. You do have to order the drink package for the whole week, except I think you can start it on day 2 and have it prorated. But we were on the ship around 11:15 on the day we boarded. Do keep this in mind, you have 4 ports... 1 is Labadee where
  10. Wow, there are some great activities planned. You need to come host a GG down South! Or what about Easter 2015 at the FORT! I'm begging hoping to go.
  11. It is sad. It's a little easier knowing we'll be going back, even if it is a long time away. As far as the ban, he won't even have to lift it! It's supposed to be a year of no Disney, and our last trip ended in February. I want to go in April 2015. That's 14 month! More than a year! I'm being totally reasonable, right? Absolutely. It's a more intimate atmosphere, and the food is better. The meal on land would have been over $100 The last meal was really good. I'm hungry again just thinking about it. I think next time I'd plan to do that meal earlier in the cruise. By the end, I got
  12. Those charging stations only charge 6 phones at one? Are they offering FP+ for those? Otherwise I predict they will be nearly impossible to get once the word is out. You're wait times for BOG are very helpful. I've told friends to eat there, but the line scares them away.
  13. It’s official…. We’ve reached the end. Sad day. Saturday, April 5th continued If you’ve been reading along, when we left off, Jason and I were eating dinner on our anniversary. We’d just consumed about a thousand appetizers, so it’s time for the main course(s)! I mentioned before that they had a lobster tail special at Portofino that night. I wanted lobster, but I had a problem. I also wanted a steak, and so did Jason. It’s general practice on RCCL that at specialty restaurants you can have as many appetizers and desserts as you want, but you can only have one entrée. But, it doesn’t hur
  14. You finished! And you finished with pood forn! Excellent work! (Now catch up on my report)
  15. I want to see a close up of a shirt! I can't read them.
  16. I've really enjoyed reliving it, so it makes me sad too. But don't skip the end... you'll miss dessert! It was gooooood. We really enjoyed the meal, definitely the best meal we had and worth the extra cost. A meal like it on land would be way more than $40. I have more pictures, but they're mostly pictures of the same things. Well, there are those! Ha ha! People can see them if they really want though. Just remember, we warned you. I could share the teeth picture. I actually didn't take many of those this trip! I REALLY wanted to take pictures of this chair hogg
  17. OK, and I can comment now! I was going to tease you for never finishing your reports, but it looks like you're taking care of that. Yum, milkshakes! Visiting Gettysburg is so powerful. I even thought so as a teen.
