I stole the peanut butter cup idea from somewhere.... it's tasty! I figured the jugs would start a bunch of comments. Right? We need a Lake Lanier GG! I'm not sure why they don't just have a ring like most places. It's funny you should ask about the sausages. Jason threw them on the grill, but they're actually Italian sausages with cheese in them that I was going to put in a pasta dish this week at home. He said he didn't care and insisted it would be out the same. It wasn't. I teased him about it all night and made jokes that were funny then, but don't seem so funny now.

Hate to see this ending. I wonder if you could have gotten a Pirates or JC FP+ as your 4th. I'm thinking mid-level attractions would work best. I'm sure they'll eventually open it to booking via phones, and that will help a lot.

Let's continue with Saturday. I forgot to mention something pretty important. One of the purposes of this trip was to check out everything on the RV since it had been so long since we'd used it. Everything was in working order. Yay! When we left off, we were considering going to Sunset cove for appetizers and a drink. Jason agreed that it wouldn't be crowded, so it would be a good time to go. So we did. The lake was still calm. It started raining a bit when we were almost there. We beached the boat right here. Usually on a Saturday, these spots are taken much earlier in the day.

You even liked it twice! Booo on selling water toys. Z decided on this trip that he is going to by a boat when he's a Daddy, so we can tie them together and hang out. I love that idea. Your summary is perfect! Apparently those jugs are going to save you if you are drowning. You're not confident they'd work? Ha ha Love it!

Ray, you're asking me dude questions.... Here's what I know... It's a 25 foot Odyssey with an inboard/outboard engine. It goes faster than most pontoons, a good bit faster. We love our pontoon. There's plenty of room to spread out, and we can still pull a tube (we could pull a skier but we don't ski). Lucky you, Jason answered my text before I posted. It's a 4.3 Mercruiser v6 with 300 hp. I feel like a genius after typing that. Lake Lanier is very pretty! Ray, I'm a Fiend... of course I cooked the eggs in the BACON grease. Come on! Increasing your post count and my comment

Saturday This was my view when I woke up. Pretty cool, huh? Don't worry, Jason was watching Z. Notice he's already in his bathing suit. The boys decided they would do some fishing. And I cooked breakfast. BACON! Z likes the idea of fishing. He just doesn't like the part where you have to be still and have patience. Yum! Breakfast is ready! And it's an excellent time to eat the rest of the tater tots. After we ate, Z wanted to go over to the beach area. Feels crowded. You can see our campsite from here. You can also see the dark stuff in the water. L

TCD is too big of a celebrity to attend GGs out of the state of FL. Pretty soon, he's going to be getting special media invites to Disney. Maybe they'll invite him when the new Starbucks opens at AK. It is nice to have inexpensive, nice campgrounds nearby. You guys are lacking the mountains that make most of our campgrounds so pretty. You know what.... I have dam pictures coming. I took them just for you guys. It does have a dump station. I'm not sure if it had water. I stay away from that job, but I will ask Jason when he comes home. Can I suggest a place to start? :l

It seems like it would also be helpful to have Anna and Elsa meet until park close (or close to it) like the other princesses.

I'm excited to see that parade. Weird about the bubbles. I don't see why they couldn't do bubbles and fire in the same parade. Maybe they're still working out the kinks.

Need help ASAP

I've been wondering how he's been doing. Glad you made it home safely, but sorry your family is going through all that. -
It was very relaxing, and there is more relaxation (and some exploring) to come. And no Crocks, at least not yet. I bet they make an appearance. Come on down! Well, we booked a different site a couple of weeks ago, but it wasn't one of our favorites. This site opened up a couple of days before we went. I'm guessing someone cancelled because of the weather. You can book up to 6 months in advance. The site we're in is pretty much booked all summer. And yes, it was $32, but all the Corp sites are only partial hookups. That's not a huge deal to us for a weekend trip though. On

Friday Let’s get to the report! Remember, this is Mother’s Day weekend, so I got to make a lot of decisions. That means the weekend was awesome! Our weekend trip began Friday after work. Check in is at 4 PM, but they’ll let you check in early if no one is occupying the site. That was the case with us, so Jason drove over early and began setting up. The site was great! We were both glad we took a chance on it. Great view when grilling If you are looking at the lake, there is one site to the right and then the campground beach. But we could also swim out the back of the site (

Welcome to the party! Oh gosh, could you imagine raising Dave and Beckers if they were siblings? True, I was slow. We are. They are a lot of things, but at least one of those things is funny. It's a nice lake! Hmmm.... I can't remember if the crocks made an appearance. I bet they did. Welcome! Hooray!

You are. Congratulations and welcome to the cool club. You made it! Yay!!! Right? I'm moving up in the world. It's definitely Kelly. Mr. GaDawgFan isn't as big of a loudmouth. But you did! Congrats. Dave should get credit for somewhat controlling himself. Nice try. As always You are! Congrats! Of course you do!

Congrats! And if you're first, I'm sure everyone knows what that means.... Welcome! 2nd is good too. Here we go! Good point! Yes, you should camp on Lanier. There are several nice campgrounds. Bald Ridge is Jason's favorite and my 2nd favorite. BTW, you should be in time out for the stuff you put on the Dollywood thread. Shameful (or shameless)! I brought out a lurker! I feel honored. Thanks for posting! Great! Yes, Dave has competition. Whoooo Hoooo! Go Braves.

Nice job! Where will you hang it? -
Wifi service and cell service

We have Verizon and get good service at the Fort with our phones and hot spot. We've never gotten one of their modems. Since we have the hot spot for Jason's job, we really don't need to. -
The GDF spent Mother's Day weekend at Bald Ridge Creek Campground on Lake Lanier. I debated back and forth about doing a TR because it was a short trip and another one that's not Disney, but Bald Ridge is a cool campground (plus I think we need a Lake Lanier GG), and I took some pictures, so here we go. The weather outlook was iffy. We went back and forth about canceling, but the main point of this trip was to make sure the RV is OK before going to the beach in a few weeks. So, we decided to keep the reservation, knowing we could really just go home if things got terrible. We also took a
