  1. Alright, so when we last left off I demonstrated how to rock the MK rope drop. Now it was time to tour Fantasyland ahead of the crowds. Remember, it’s a level 10 crowd day. We had to move on to one of Z’s fiancés. I wish I had more pictures, but I guess part of being 100% responsible for a young child means I can’t take as many. There was a HUGE line for Anna and Elsa, but guess what? Even after riding the Mine Train, we were Rapunzel and Cinderella’s first customers. Remember when Rapunzel’s line was sooooooooooo long? Not anymore. Added a border Then we went over
  2. Thanks! I hate it that you're right by my house, and I'm not there. We really need a GA GG. He has done the smolder. I have pictures. Now, when Rapunzel tried to teach it to him, he totally froze up. Funny kid. Glad you are loving it. Hoping to give you a little more tonight. I do believe you are the one who gave me that tip! Worked like a charm. I was pretty proud of pulling it off with a 5 year old. It was great and will definitely be done again.
  3. Yeah, the kiss almost proved to be an issue, but it worked out. THAT's how you RD... not to brag or anything. :) You'll see in the next update! (hopefully coming soon) ] It was a great 4th, and luckily there were no shoe issues after the ride down. Yeah, stroller moms get a lot of grief, but some without strollers are just as bad. It was sooooooo much fun! Having a kid who loves Disney as much as I do ROCKS. I just hope our adventures continue like TCD has been able to do with his kids. Better late than never! :) Thanks! I didn't feel bad after hitting h
  4. I've never heard of that restaurant, so there's not way I would have guessed it. You are a funny man.
  5. It’s July 4th! My plan was to hit MK for rope drop, and then get the heck out. It was a level 10 crowd day, and the MK was not recommended on any planning website. BUT, I knew this day might be our only opportunity this trip to hit RD, and I planned to take advantage of the 8 AM opening. I’m still a big kid, so I couldn’t really sleep. I have that problem every trip before our first park day. I woke up at 5 AM and just laid there. Finally, I decided to just get up and start getting ready. Z is like me; at Disney, he can get up no problem and is ready to go. We drove our cart down to the bo
  6. I'm a teacher with 2 months off in the summer, and I love to travel. My goal for this summer was to camp as much as possible. I'm doing pretty good... 14 nights at Topsail, 3 nights at Lake Lanier, 6 nights at the Fort, and I'm on my way to spend 9 nights on Tybee Island. Things will slow down after this, but it's been a great summer. I hope you get to do a trip with just your daughter. It's good bonding time.
  7. It was a perfect ending. Very true. I thought about that, but I think most of you were heading to a park. Next time though! Let me know what weekend you're thinking. And we can go slow if needed! Correct, you don't need to pick up anything. I think this change started when the ride photos started being automatically added without a card. I'm a fan of being barefoot, but you definitely need shoes to go into rest stop bathrooms. I'm glad someone got that! But yeah, that song is the worst because it gets stuck in my head. We never ended up needing the hard tick
  8. Very true! Bras would also be a problem! Z and Jedi are both super cute. :) I read every night in bed, but reading with a glass of wine, outside at the Fort really put it over the top. The Lone Ranger was perfect for us. I'd like to call it the mini-GAG Welcome!!!!!!!!!! Not too late! And it's your 3rd post. I'm honored. And excited you are jumping right in!
  9. I'm semi-annoyed. I called and apparently this is something that can only be fixed in person. The nice lady let me know that it is indeed a mistake but that it can't be corrected until I visit Guest Relations in person. She said not to worry about months going by because it is very clear in the system that they made a mistake. But I'm still worried. I don't get why they can't fix it over the phone. UGH!
  10. I'm impressed you are tackling the paint. My husband's uncle restores old cars and Jason grew up in that shop. He says once the prep work is done (which would be the hardest part of the job), that's an 8-10 hour paint job. When I told him what they quoted you, he said the same thing... they don't want to do it.
  11. Apparently Disney is planning more Frozen stuff in the Epcot pavilion than many Norwegians want to see. Some links have started to surface on Epcot Explorer's fb page.... You have to turn on cc to understand this one... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=STgcHYvnTEo They suggest google translate to read this one. http://www.tv2.no/a/5782040
  12. Once we got set up and unpacked, it was time to pick up my tickets and Memory Maker. I had chosen will call for the tickets, and my Memory Maker also emailed me and told me I needed to go pick that up. I tried the ticket window at Pioneer Hall, but they said I needed to go to the MK or another ticket booth. So, Z and I hopped on a boat. You can see the Poly construction in the distance. Here’s what I found out when I got to the ticket booth…. I didn’t really need to go. Apparently the old Photopass Plus required something to be picked up, but Memory Maker doesn’t. The lady said tha
  13. For a few seconds, I actually considered continuing on and buying shoes later. But I knew we were going to be stopping at public restrooms along the way, so it just seemed easier to go back and get them. Ha ha ha! Now I don't feel so bad. They were great. And I'm just teasing them about not pulling over in the cart. I was following them. Sure..... (PS- So great to meet you and thanks again!) No problem! And yes, you should have plenty of room. My site wasn't even one of the biggest partials I saw. Not my PUP. Fiends are really the BEST. On the fax, I just explai
  14. Love the pictures and that you got a date night stroll. I really need to visit the Boardwalk area. Hmmm.... not sure about breakfast... something in the Epcot resort area?
  15. Planning It’s occurred to me that I should back up a little and talk about my planning. I’m a super planner. If you’ve seen the stuff that Marty’s posting, you know what I’m talking about. I do something similar for all of my trips. I’m the lady on the computer at 6 AM on the 180 day mark to get all the ADRs that we want. I already have the FP+ day circled on my calendar for our Easter trip. Obviously, none of that could happen this trip. I knew we really wanted to see Elsa & Anna and ride the Mine Train, but would it be possible at the last minute? It was, but I had to play around. Fi
  16. I have all of that. My computer restarted while I was typing my update. Darn technology! I'm rewriting it now....
  17. You learned from the best. Welcome! Yay! I don't think you've ever done it to one of mine. Am I not special enough?!?!? Awwwwww Uh oh You're about to find out! Great! And here I thought you might have restrained yourself. Hey, you have a new avatar, right? Where are all the missing ones going?
  18. You're slipping. Who is Rich? No, I didn't forget him. Good guess. That would have been bad. He's actually the one who pointed out what we forgot. Glad to have you here! No, I didn't forget that either. Hooray! Have you been taking lessons from Dave, Beckers, and Ray? You learn quickly. You did.... And what do you do? And page 2.
  19. Whooo Hooo! Congrats! Nope, second, but that's good! Nope, you are 3rd, but can you believe that all 3 of you posted the same minute? Great! Yes, you let Grumpy beat you by a few seconds. There's always next time... I love to tease Jason about the Yeti because I think they're overpriced, but they do work well. I'm glad you are accepting blame. Yay, that makes me happy to hear! It was quite an adventure! And you beat your page hogging daughter! How did you let your dad win?
