Question... Does anyone have experience doing Food and Wine with an allergy? My friend that's coming with me is allergic to gluten. We're assuming some dishes will be safe for her, but I'm curious if they release a list of safe foods or something like that.

I figured I'd add some pictures of Rivers End. We're enjoying our stay here. Sites are close together, but I knew to expect that. All the employees have been great. There is wifi and ice/firewood delivery. The beach is a close walk. We've seen dolphins multiple times each day. There are several good and inexpensive restaurants within walking distance. Pool which has never been very crowded. Actually this day was the most crowded so far. Office with a good selection at the store Our site (37) Pavilion Different bath house than Dave posted. The food was WAY better than I thought it would be. Beer cheese soup and potato dumplings.... YUM!

The one in Cherokee has a ton of stuff for kids to do. We really enjoyed our stay there.

Time for an update! Here are my pictures and thoughts for the FoF parade. My pictures aren't spectacular, but I'll share them anyway. But first, a Brazilian girl picking her nose. BTW... this was an unusual noon start time for the parade. They did it twice that day. As a result, you'll see I'm on the opposite side of the road vs. what TCD has suggested. Where I was had shade while we waited but not much at noon when the parade started. Just mentioning in case you're there for a holiday time where they run the parade twice. I agree that this float is too high.

No animals would be OK since we don't bring our dog. We were looking at Sanibel because our friends go there, but we're not ready to give up Topsail Hill yet.

Get there early. I went April 2013, and talk about it in my trip report (linked in my signature). If you get there early, you get to meet and get pictures with Chip n Dale and Goofy. You can also get a table around the main dancing area.
