  1. It was a great day. The Rebel Spy and Frozen? Z was in heaven. I think you know I was on the fence about getting the package. And originally, we were going to AK, not DHS. I'm glad we changed our plans. That stinks that you couldn't grab a date. I haven't gotten to the parts that I think make the premium package really worth it.
  2. I just called. I would have been able to book demos and seminars, but I could not book the 3D Dessert Party. The CM went and talked to someone, but said that even wasn't open, just the demos and seminars. She said to call back Monday because it looked like I would be able to book it then.
  3. And this is a conversations we've had too. We would use it some when not camping. And some places we camp don't have rentals. But I'm still not sure it's worth it.
  4. Yes, I was curious about restaurant prices. My time in Hawaii was a very long time ago, but I still remember some things. That French toast looks yummy!
  5. I don't think so. I've never seen them waiting. I'd just call and let them know what time you want to go. I know they pick up and drop off at the Outpost because I've taken one back from Epcot before. I'm even guessing by the time you got from your site to the Outpost, they'd be there.
  6. Here's Mears estimator for you. http://www.mearstransportation.com/taxi-services/taxi-fare-estimator Looks like $7.56 each way. That's what I'd do.
  7. I've been in contact with them tonight. That might be the way we have to go. I'm a little concerned about the weight of a large trailer behind the RV... We need to do some research and make sure that would work for us.
  8. So I'm confused because I saw something else that said AP holders could book tomorrow as well. But I can't find anything from Disney that says this. I called and asked, and the CM I talked to basically couldn't confirm anything. I explained that I heard I might be able to book some things, maybe the dessert party tomorrow, and she said she couldn't confirm but that everything would open on the same date. So what's the real story???
  9. The Jeep is Jason's every day driver, and he'll die before he gives it up. We can't afford another vehicle.
  10. We currently tow our Wrangler 4 down with a Blue Ox, not sure if we could use the same system with the Mighty Hauler. But according to Dave, the Mighty Hauler might not work for us. UGH.... guess we will rent forever.
  11. Yes, we have a Jeep. And it is 4WD... the fact that all aren't is something I just don't understand. So if we can't tow using something like Dave's trailer, and according to Dave, our Super C won't work with a Mighty Hauler... there are no options for us?!?!
  12. Thanks, Mo! My friend is sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo excited about her possibilities. She's so limited anywhere but Disney or her kitchen that going is a real culinary treat. Trails End and The Plaza made her quite the dishes on our trip which you'll see later in my TR. She's always shocked when she doesn't just have to eat salad. Hoping to score the REAL dessert party in the morning!
  13. BLTN bragging rights to you! Thanks for joining. I really enjoyed our Mom and son time, and I predict there will be much more of it in the future. No Frozen fans?!?!
  14. You can do it online, thru the app, or at a kiosk if you are linked. I like online the best.
  15. Also good point about the expiration date. SSR might be the best value. My understanding from looking into things is that the only restriction with buying resale is that you MUST use your points at a DVC resort. No using them, say at the Fort or on a cruise. I'm fine with that, especially because you can get some deals at almost half of what Disney is currently selling points for. Are there other restrictions?
  16. And unless you're trying for Elsa and Anna, I don't think booking your FP will be stressful.
  17. Love the pictures! Beautiful! The bathroom details are amazing. What were food prices like?
  18. For super early ADRs (or to be early for RD), you have to take the Contemporary boat and walk to the MK from there.
  19. I forgot to mention an exciting moment from the night before…. Up until our pizza dinner, the boys had no idea that the Frozen events were happening at DHS. Once they both ate a piece of pizza, we told them about it. They were VERY excited! Probably as a result of that excitement, getting them up that morning wasn’t difficult. We were supposed to check in at 10:00 to get our credentials, but I had booked FP+ for Star Tours before that. The plan was to scope out the check in area in case they were starting early and then head to Star Tours. We rode the bus over, and when we got off, we saw
  20. Like TCD said, it's sold out. Thanks for crushing their dreams before I had to. True! And you can experience it all except the dessert party without the package. But I will say that the dessert party was my favorite part. Yes, LB is a country singer. A big one. As far as going during a holiday, I only really went because I was off and there were lots of Fiends at the Fort. Ha ha! But I'm a teacher, so most of my time off is during the busy times. I lived in Longwood in elementary and middle school. It was great to be that close to Disney. I'm not sure there are any times l
  21. I just realized I never commented on the tour groups. They were coming in to the Land Pavilion as we were eating. And yes, there were lots. I noticed when we were riding the ride that they had them eating in the restaurant that's closed for lunch... can't remember the name, but the one that's a character meal at Dinner. I'm glad you don't like Luke. He's all mine! Ha ha! The fireworks were really cool, and yes, we paid extra and did the Frozen premium package. Both my son and the other boy are Frozen crazy... as much as I can tell, all little kids are. Yeah, I'm not sure why they a
