  1. Good point. I planned 2 Fort days and still didn't have enough Fort time.
  2. According to Josh, replacement options when you can't use a FP+ because of weather, ride breaks, etc. are set by the ride, not based on availability that day. He posted the list of replacement options for each attraction. I'm surprised they use A&E as a replacement. http://www.easywdw.com/uncategorized/fastpass-replacements-should-yours-be-canceled/#more-14051
  3. A couple more things... premium sites don't have WIFI (none do) ... but you can get a modem from Disney for any site. One suggestion to save money, don't get park hopper tickets. It costs $50 per ticket. It sounds like you're going to need at least 3 tickets; that's $150. One park per day with kids is plenty, and that $150 could be spent on better things, IMO.
  4. First of all, WELCOME!!!!!!!!! You'll love Ft. Wilderness, especially with your grand kids. I'd request a loop near the pool and campfire. We love the 1400 loop, and it's not a pet loop. For groceries, if you're driving, the cheapest way is to bring them or get them at a grocery store once you arrive. If you are flying or don't want to spend precious time grocery shopping with kids, I recommend wegoshop.com. They shop your choice of stores, use their discount cards, bring you the receipt, and charge you a fee based on the price. Tips are also appreciated. For booking sites at a discount,
  5. With all the time they spend putting them up and taking them down, I'm surprised they haven't found a version of them that people can't see during non-Christmas months.
  6. I know a lot of people will miss the self-serve. I can't eat that much of it, so that doesn't bother me as much. They should open before noon though... 11 AM at least. They also need to add the rum float.
  7. After seeing that a trip to Six Flags would be $200, I started considering driving to Disney this weekend instead.
  8. Before the party ends.... Josh says that's the best time to ride without FP+ on a regular day. I think the party will give you more of an advantage. And, you won't waste party time waiting.
  9. I'd get in line just before closing time. The posted wait will probably be way off.
  10. Glad you got to use FP+ at BOG. I believe Devores reported that it's coming to an end. Bummer. The pork and roast beef are both good. Excellent choices!
  11. I've brought a soft-sided cooler into AK. It's been awhile though. I bet they're allowed.
