  1. Now if they can actually put these items where people buy them for the show....
  2. And the booking separate and overlapping thing is a pain in the ass. Luckily I only had to do that for 2 things. I'm just saying that the idea that NO headliners are open is false. Most are.
  3. I'm not saying it's perfect, and I can't believe I'm defending it. Long waits at major attractions were around BEFORE FP+, especially around the holidays. Some major attractions like Space and BTMRR actually have shorter standby waits now. However, rides that never had a wait before do, so that's a negative of the system. If you want to ride MOST of the attractions, you can make your plans the night before. You don't have to plan months in advance. I agree. Yes, people do.
  4. I am a planner, so I know that figures into my opinion. I'm just saying that you can still ride lots of stuff without planning too far ahead. For example, tomorrow everything is still available except A&E, 7DMT, wishes, parade, character spot, and TSMM. I think I got A&E 1-2 weeks out. I had to book them as individuals ans work to overlap them. That part was a pain, but the idea that you can't so anything if you don't plan 2 month out is silly.
  5. So here's the thing, I've done my share of complaining about FP+, but all in all, it isn't really that bad. You can get things like Space and BTMRR the day of. The only things I really dislike about it are the tiering and the limit of 3 FP+ in advance. Both are fairly easy to work around if you're willing to get there for rope drop or have 2 days at the same park. The idea that you won't be able to ride headliners anymore is really not true... at this point. It took effort, but I was able to plan a last minute trip the week of July 4th and got FP+ for everything I wanted, including 7DMT and
  6. We're pretty excited about the Mini Max. Having the surface area of the small but being much lighter is a huge bonus. That said, I think we'll still transport the medium for long trips, like the beach. It would be AWESOME for tailgating and camping though. Z has actually been begging for a mini, so can we pretend it's his Christmas present? Will do! He said there's not as much mark-up on the smaller ones, but hopefully we can get a good deal. Jason's sent several people his company has given some away, so he treats us right. YES, Ray... you can smoke for a family on it. I should hav
  7. Actually Ray, I saw something about turkeys in my cookbook yesterday while giving someone a rub recipe. A small will hold a 10 lb turkey, medium 18lb, large 20 lb, XL 2 20lbs.
  8. We cook 3 huge slabs on our large. I guess the turkey depends on size. I've never had a reason to do more than 1 at a time.
  9. I actually have an exciting update... Jason went to our meat market to get ribs and a pork butt. He started talking to the owner about Eggtoberfest, and without even asking about it, he offered to sponsor a cook team. Yay!!! Also, he has 10 Mini Maxes on order, and apparently one is ours if we want to but it. Still not sure about pricing though....
  10. Thanks for reading! Don't worry, I took a picture of the koozie and put a beer in it afterwards.
  11. Now if they had a full time Star Wars character meal... then we'd be changing plans. I think they're really missing the boat on that. It would be super popular with boys and lots of men.
  12. I'm not getting Jason and my dad hoppers, so we have to eat in the MK that night.
  13. But would you trade it for Biergarten? I think I'd get divorced.
  14. I had trouble booking mine the morning of my 180 day mark. Such a pain. Before then, I had never had issues.
  15. So I have to tell you, we tried to take Sanford on our cart. He wasn't impressed. I think looping is out for him.
  16. No, but you can book with "not my" Jason, and he'll do it for free. I'm just too OCD to give up the control. Booking at 180 days is the key.
