Hey, we might not have any idea about what's going on for Christmas dining for 2014, but Disney has released details of where you can see gingerbread displays and their specs. What Tim said.... I've seen tents in every loop, even premium. While we have an RV, I love tent camping and miss many parts of it. And hey, there's good news for you... Lot of Fiends (including me) will be around that weekend. Check out the Official Christmas GG for more info. :)

Does anyone know if they put outdoor heaters at Mickey's Backyard BBQ in the colder months?

It's not a necessity, but it is fun. There's no way I'd rent from Disney for 3 weeks. You could almost buy a cart for that amount. There is an internal bus that you can take to both those areas, and if you're in the 100 loop, you can walk to the settlement easily. Do you have bikes? Kids?

I actually have two. And there's a couple other still available I'm interested in. I'm holding until I get more info.

And Disney posted Thanksgiving menus, so that makes me even more confused about why they aren't doing the same for Christmas.

Right? And it's true!

I'm googling and looking for Christmas menus for 2014, and it appears there are none. It also appears that Disney released those menus in previous years. So what's up with that? Did they forget we're having Christmas this month? All their website says is that 15+ places are going to have a special menu. Can anyone find details for this year? Some of the 2013 menus look A LOT different than the restaurants' usual offers and are in many cases, gasp, cheaper than what the places usually charge for most entrees.

Well, we'll be around the Fort all day on the 20th. Maybe you'll get lucky and be able to meet me. :)

We would go multiple times. We haven't done a princess meal since my stepdaughter turned 16... getting people into more character meals is a win for Disney. In other news, can you imagine the insanity of a Frozen breakfast?

I just read that to Jason... he said if so, he'd eat 3 meals a day there.

But here's my point... you can see princess a million places. Where can you see boy characters? And by boy... I mean even grown men would love it. (Just as I do love princess meals.) Z even loves princesses (well, the ones who meet his criteria), but he'd be CRAZY about a Star Wars meal.
